November Favorites

Hi everyone,

Today, as it’s the end of the month I’m going to be doing my November favorites. Even though I feel like this month absolutely flew by, I have a pretty good mix of favorites so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my November BoxyCharm box and if you haven’t read that, I’ll link it down below. My first Boxy favorite is the Natasha Denona Peak Palette. This is an exclusive, five pan palette for BoxyCharm and it has all of the colors of fall. All of these shades comes from the Safari, Sunrise and and Biba palettes. I’ve done a few looks with this palette so far and I really like it. All the shades are really smooth, very pigmented and blend really nicely.

IMG_6596

IMG_6597

IMG_6598

This is the look I did with the palette on Thanksgiving. I’m really happy with how it came out.

IMG_6681

My second Boxy favorite is the Bodyography Eye Pencil Duo. These pencils are infused with coconut oil and they glide on nicely. You do get a nice crisp line with these but you can also easily smudge them. I got mine in the shades Onyx and Black Walnut. Onyx isn’t the blackest black but it does add depth and pulls together a look and Black Walnut is a very dark brown that is great for smoking out a more neutral look.

IMG_6599

IMG_6600

IMG_6601

And my last beauty favorite is from the Fall Walmart beauty box. It’s the Gold Bond Ultimate Strength and Resilience lotion. This is a really good lotion for this time of year because it has seven plumping moisturizers, three vitamins, proteins and lipids. So it keeps your skin radiant and moisturized.

IMG_6665

Moving on I have a holiday favorite and it’s Thanksgiving. Even though Thanksgiving was a little different this year I still really enjoyed it. I did glam from the waist up but had leggings and slippers on which I don’t normally do. But overall it was a very chill day and I still managed to eat too much food.

My second to last favorite is a Twitch stream and it’s Tony Kanaan’s Twitch stream. I didn’t really know that TK was on Twitch until I saw a tweet from him saying that he was live and since then I’ve only missed a few streams. It’s genuinely such a fun environment to be in, he’s really interactive with his chat and I laugh so much when I’m in his stream. If you’re looking for a race car driver or iRacing stream to watch on Twitch I definitely recommend checking his stream out. And if you see me in chat say hi.

And my last favorite, a music favorite, is AC/DC’s new album Power Up (PWR UP as it’s written on the album cover). There was a lot of hype behind this album and it’s definitely lived up to all the hype. It’s very much like a classic AC/DC album, in the sound and style and it’s just a feel good album. It’s what the world needed right now for sure. If you haven’t heard it yet, I definitely recommend giving it a listen.

That about wraps it up for this post, I want to mention because I haven’t that I am doing Blogmas again this year and I’m excited about it, so look out for those posts. If we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great November :).

Fall Walmart Beauty Box Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Today we’re going to be talking about the fall Walmart Beauty Box. This is the first official box since the revamp. The box itself is white on the outside with the Walmart logo in red and pink lipstick swatches. Usually it’s glossy, but this one is matte.

IMG_6659

So one thing that changed with the revamp is now you get a pamphlet that has the full size prices of the items in your box. I really wish that with this revamp they would have included some tissue paper or something in the box because it would’ve added a little bit of color and protected the items a bit. I have some squished squeezy tubes in this box.

IMG_6660

So the first product we have is the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Original. This has oil absorbing rice starch and is supposed to be light on your hair and not weigh it down. This isn’t my ultimate favorite dry shampoo but I know a lot of people do really like it.

IMG_6661

Next up we have the Earth to Skin Honey Manuka Cleanser. This has Manuka honey extract and glycerin, which draw in water and replenish the skin by helping to create a protective skin barrier. I’m really happy with my current skincare routine, but this is interesting to me. I’ll let you know what I think of it.

IMG_6662

Moving on we have the NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Crisp. The Butter Glosses apply really smooth and silky, aren’t too sticky, which is one of my least favorite things about lip gloss and there’s a number of gorgeous fall colors. The thing about these glosses is you do get a sheer to medium coverage so they’re buildable without looking gloppy and they smell really good. This is probably my favorite thing in the entire box.

IMG_6663

IMG_6664

IMG_6668

The second to last product we have is a pretty smashed and dented tube of Gold Bond Ultimate Strength and Resilience lotion. This is formulated with seven plumping moisturizers, three vitamins, proteins and lipids to replenish moisture and texture. Basically this will keep your skin radiant in the winter, which is always a good thing.

IMG_6665

And the last product we have is the Anecdote Weekend Vibe perfume. This has pineapple water, sandalwood, pink passion fruit and whipped musk. This is in a roller ball which I do like because they’re great to throw in your handbag. I do really like the scent of this, to me it’s more spring/summer than fall/winter but I will be wearing it.

IMG_6666

IMG_6667

That about wraps it up for this post, if you got any of these items in your fall Walmart Beauty Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get. I’d also love to know what you think of this new revamped box.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what will be in the winter box :).

Limited Edition Halloween Walmart Beauty Box Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Today I have a different unboxing, a Halloween beauty box. I haven’t done a holiday beauty box unboxing before so when I saw this I knew I had to buy it. This box comes from Walmart Beauty and you may or may not know that after the spring Walmart Beauty Box they decided to take off the summer to revamp the box. So I guess this is the intro to that relaunch, although I did get an email a few days ago saying that this week I’m going to charged for the fall box, so the fall boxes are coming. This box in particular cost me $10.00, which is double the price of the normal WBB, and came with a little pamphlet that gave a description of each of the items. I got to choose between two, both had the same base items but one came with an eyeliner and the other with a lipstick. I chose the eyeliner option because I knew I would get more use out of it and I haven’t worn a drugstore eyeliner in years so I wanted to try one out.

The box itself is all white with a white Walmart logo on the top and it’s white on the inside as well. Because this is the Halloween box I was hoping for a pop of orange, black or purple or even some festive tissue paper.

IMG_6479

IMG_6480 (1)

The first item we have in this box is the Splat Hair Chalk in Midnight Blue. This is basically hair dye but not, you take pieces of hair, lightly spray with hair spray, open the color compact, close it around the hair and slide it down your hair. Depending on how dark you want the color to be you can go over the already colored pieces of hair. And to set it just spray more hair spray. I haven’t used anything like this since I was a kid, but it’s a quick and easy way to get color into your hair, the Splat Hair Chalks come in a variety of colors, and once you’re over the color it washes out easily.

IMG_6481

The next item we have is a Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelette. This is a single, but you can get this individually wrapped towelettes in a bag of 20. I always keep these on hand, the fact that they’re individually wrapped makes it easy to keep in your handbag, which I do, and I also really like these for taking off swatches because they get all the makeup off.

IMG_6483

Moving on we have a Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow quad. This is the product that confused me when I saw it. On the website and in the pamphlet it shows a purple quad, to me it looks like 510, Precocious, but what I actually received was 500, Addictive, a neutral/brown quad. If this is a Halloween box the purple makes perfect sense, but I’m not sure how you would get the same effect with neutrals/browns. I also haven’t worn Revlon eyeshadow since I was in junior high, so I couldn’t tell you now how these shadows are going to perform. Normally I would do some swatches, but I’m going to give this to someone and I want it to be fresh for them.

IMG_6484

Next up we have the Hard Candy Stroke of Gorgeous Liquid Eyeliner in 1807, Black To Basic. This is a matte eyeliner that says it’s easy to apply, mess free and dries down quickly. I’ve only tried Hard Candy lipsticks and nail polishes, so I’m interested to try this out and see how it performs. This has a nice tip on it and it seems like you could easily do thick or thin liner. I saw that this liner comes in different colors, so if I like it I might look into the other shades.

IMG_6488

IMG_6489

Moving on we have the Milani Strobelight Liquid Highlighter in 06, 24K Gold. When they say gold, they mean gold. I do like liquid highlighters and when I saw this I was interested because I haven’t tried one from Milani. I think for me this might be a little too gold, but the formula seems nice and when the light hits it it is quite pretty.

IMG_6491

IMG_6492

IMG_6500

The second to last item we have is the NYX Shout Loud Satin Lipstick in Red Haute. I’ve heard great things about the NYX Satin Lipsticks and based on the swatch I can see why. This is a really pretty shade of red and seems to be nicely pigmented. It claims to deliver up to four hours of hydration in one swipe, which I’ll be looking for when I wear it. All of the Shout Out Loud satins are infused with mango and shea butter and have a heart stamped into them which I think is adorable.

IMG_6493

IMG_6494

IMG_6495

IMG_6501

And the last item we have is a Sinful Colors nail polish. This is the second thing that I saw that confused me. On the website and in the pamphlet it shows what looks to be a deeper sparkly red polish, maybe Sugar Sugar, and that’s one of the things that drew me in. But the polish I got was 852, Gogo Girl. I do like this polish, in fact I own this polish and it’s on my nails right now. It’s a nice shade of red and like the other Sinful Colors polishes it wears well.

IMG_6499

IMG_6497

That about wraps it up for this post, overall I think it was alright. I was disappointed by a few things, but I’m really interested to see what the revamped seasonal boxes look like.

Until next time, enjoy your products and have fun creating Halloween looks :).

Walmart Beauty Box Update

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! I wanted to give you guys a quick update on the Walmart Beauty Box. I did my unboxing and review of the Spring box a few days ago and if you read that then you know that I wasn’t impressed. I received an email from them today and it reads as follows;

“Hi Beauty Box Subscriber,

Sometimes we all need a little makeover, right? We think so too. And that’s why we are revamping our Beauty Box to make it an even better experience for you! Since we will be making some changes over the next couple of months, we will not be sending out an official Summer Box. We are excited to announce that your next Beauty Box will be on it’s way in August.

So, what happens next? In mid-August you will receive an an email saying that your Fall Beauty Box is in the works. Shortly after that, your box will be shipped. The only thing left to do is enjoy trying your fall beauty products just in time to start the new season!”

I had been hoping that the next box would be much better, so I’m not too upset about not getting a Summer box in order to make that happen.

If you guys are subscribed to the Walmart Beauty Box I’d love to know what new things you’re hoping to see.

Spring 2020 Walmart Beauty Box Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’m back with another unboxing, this time of the Spring 2020 Walmart Beauty Box. I always say that the Walmart Beauty Box is a little off with their timing and this box is no different. I got this on Friday so one day before the official start of summer. The theme for this month is Spring Beauty Sensations. The box itself is white with the Walmart logo in the center and that is made of lipstick swatches in various pinks and reds. Sometimes they will make the inside of the box a different color to more match the season, but this time it’s plain white inside.

IMG_5705

IMG_5706

So the first thing we have is the Suave Curl Defining Cream For Naturally Curly and Coily Hair. This is part of the Suave Professionals for Natural Hair collection. It has natural shea butter and pure coconut oil along with no parabens, dyes and is color safe. This is supposed to add shine, moisture and help bring your curls back to life while enhancing your natural curl pattern.

IMG_5707

The second product we have is the Biore Rose Quartz + Charcoal Daily Purifying Cleanser. This says that the charcoal deep cleans and the rose quartz radiates self love. Biore as far as I know is a well liked drugstore skincare brand and based on the research I did, people seem to really like this cleanser and how it made their skin feel.

IMG_5711

Moving on we have one of two things from the brand Hello. This is a charcoal infused, tapered bristle toothbrush, with bristles made from bamboo, that is natural and bpa free. I know a lot of people like the charcoal toothpastes and such, but personally I’m not the biggest fan. I think this is a cool idea though.

IMG_5709

The second item from Hello is an antiplaque + whitening, fluoride free, natural peppermint with tea tree and coconut oil toothpaste. I’m 50/50 about natural toothpastes and I have a whitening toothpaste that I really like, but I’ll give this one a try and see what I think.

IMG_5712

The second to last product we have is Natural Vitality Calm in Raspberry-Lemon. This is a magnesium supplement that you stir into cold or warm water and drink. It’s supposed to help balance your calcium intake and promote healthy magnesium levels along with helping you feel more relaxed and less stressed. I take my vitamins and things like that but I’m not really into things like this on this level. My mom is though, so I’ll give this to her and see if she likes it.

IMG_5708

And the last product we have is the Salon Perfect Design Nail Set. This is a set of fake nails with a grey marble and gold stripe pattern and an almond shape. In this kit you get 24 nails, a nail file and professional nail glue. I haven’t worn glue on fake nails in many years and I don’t typically pick this shape, but these are pretty cute and something I could have fun with.

IMG_5710

Overall I feel like this is one of the worst Walmart Beauty Boxes I’ve received, it almost feels like they forgot they had to do a box. There’s nothing in here that feels super springy and I feel like there was a few cases where they definitely didn’t look at my profile preferences. Hopefully the summer box will be better. If any of you guys are subscribed to the Walmart Beauty Box, I’m interested to know what you thought of your spring box.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what’s in the summer box :).

March Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month I thought it would be the perfect time to do my March favorites. It seems like this month has been 97 years long and there’s been a lot going on, but I hope you’re all doing well. I have a good group of favorites this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my March Sephora Play Box and I’ll link that below if you haven’t read it. My first Play favorite is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black. This is a product I used long ago and loved and now having used it a few times since getting it, I still love it. It glides on really smooth, there is room for error with this liner which you don’t always get and once it dries then it’s not smudging or going anywhere.

IMG_5323

My next Play favorite is the Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Ceramides. I’ve been using this since I got it and I really like it. It’s a rich cream that sinks in quickly and because it is whipped, feels nice and light on the skin. It makes my skin really soft and it feels very moisturized. Definitely a moisturizer I would recommend if you’re looking for a new one.

IMG_5322

And my last Play favorite is the Versace Bright Crystal perfume. This is a really well balanced scent. It’s fruity and floral with the perfect hint of freshness. A great scent for spring and summer and I have ordered a full size of this perfume. If you haven’t smelled this and you get the chance, I say definitely do.

IMG_5324

My next two favorites come from the winter Walmart Beauty Box, which I’ll link down below, and the first is the Curel Dry Skin Therapy Hydra Skin Moisturizer. I use the Curel Wet Skin Moisturizer and love that so I had high hopes for this and it delivered. It sinks in to the skin quickly, leaves my skin feeling really moisturized but not greasy and has a nice almost citrusy scent.

IMG_5238

My other Walmart Beauty Box favorite is the Color Club Nail Lacquer in 1198, It’s Complicated. This is a really pretty, nicely pigmented magenta shade. The formula is nice, it goes on smooth and for me two coats was perfect. It also held up pretty well and lasted on my nails once it was on. This is a brand I hadn’t purchased from before but now I’m definitely going to see what other polishes they have.

IMG_5242

IMG_5243

IMG_5254

And my last beauty favorite is the e.l.f. Bite Size Shadow palette in Rose Water. This is a mix of pinks and purples. The shimmers are really nicely pigmented and creamy and the mattes are very smooth. I’ve talked about a few of these and I definitely recommend them, they’re great little palettes.

IMG_5201

IMG_5212 (1)

Moving on I have a drink favorite and it’s the Pure Leaf Raspberry Tea. Pure Leaf is always my go to if I want a good tea in a bottle and I typically stick with the same one or two, but I love raspberry tea so I decided to try it and I’m glad I did. I also saw that Pure Leaf has some new and different teas and I picked up a Peach Hibiscus to try, and I’m excited about that. It’s the perfect spring/summer tea flavor.

I want to quickly mention something that isn’t exactly a favorite because I just started watching last night, but I’m 3 episodes in to Tiger King on Netflix and holy wow. It’s already not what I expected. No spoilers, but I want to know if you guys are watching/have watched and what do you think?

And my last favorite is a music favorite and it’s AC/DC’s album Rock Or Bust. Something I’ve been doing recently is a deep dive into some of my favorite bands/musicians and listening to music of theirs that I haven’t heard or have forgotten about. It’s been a lot of fun. The songs on this album are pretty short, but in this case it works. Like most AC/DC songs the chorus’ are catchy and when you hear a riff you know it’s them you’re listening to. Overall great album. Speaking of musicians I like, I want to wish Slowhand himself, Eric Clapton a happy 75th birthday. I’m listening to music as I write this.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your March favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you all had a good March :).

Winter 2020 Walmart Beauty Box Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’m back with another review and this time it’s of the Winter 2020 Walmart Beauty Box. It is a little hard to call this a winter box when I received it on March 12th, but I’m happy that it came nonetheless. The theme for this box is Winter Wonders. The box itself is white with a Walmart logo in the center that is made of lipstick swatches in various reds and pinks and the inside of the box is blue.

IMG_5233

IMG_5232

The first product we have is the Herbal Essences bio:renew Birch Bark Extract shampoo and conditioner. These have 0% sulfates, parabens, gluten and colorants and are supposed to have gentle color protection. I haven’t used Herbal Essences in a very long time, but I’m going to give this to a friend that I know loves it.

IMG_5235

Next we have the Colgate Optic White Renewal toothpaste. This says it’s high impact white, removes 10 years of yellow stains and is 3% hydrogen peroxide. It’s also sugar free, enamel safe, gluten free and vegan. I have a little kit I carry in my handbag that has little things like this in it so that’s exactly where this is going to go.

IMG_5236

IMG_5237

Moving on we have the Curel Dry Skin Therapy Hydra Skin Moisturizer with Ceramide Complex. This says it immediately absorbs and delivers long lasting non greasy moisture. I use the Curel Wet Skin Moisturizer and I really like that. I don’t have particularly dry skin, but extra moisture is always a plus so I’ll let you guys know what I think of this.

IMG_5238

The second to last product we have is the NYX Makeup Crew 2 piece set. You get two lipsticks in this set. One is a soft matte lip cream and the other is a soft matte metallic lip cream and they’re both in the shade California. I have a couple of the NYX soft matte lip creams and I like them. They have a whipped texture, they’re light on the lips and they have a pretty long wear time. I am mildly concerned to wear the metallic just because the swatch, while gorgeous, was really metallic. But we’ll see.

IMG_5239

IMG_5240

IMG_5241

And the last product we have is the Color Club Nail Lacquer in 1198, It’s Complicated. Color Club is a brand I know of, but haven’t tried anything from. This is a really pretty magenta shade. I do have this on my nails now and it’s as pretty on as it is in the bottle. I put this on my nails on Friday, it’s now Monday and it’s holding up well. This went on great and it seems to have a nice formula.

IMG_5242

IMG_5243

IMG_5254

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your Winter Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next season :).

Fall Walmart Beauty Box Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’m back with another Walmart Beauty Box, this time Fall. I did skip the Summer box but that wasn’t on purpose, I got a new card, forgot to resubscribe and by the time I remembered it was time for the Fall box and here we are. The theme for this box is Fall Faves. The box itself is white with a magenta Walmart logo in the center and the tissue paper that’s wrapped around the products is the same color.

FWB1

FWB2

The first product we have is the Clean & Clear Lemon Zesty Scrub with Vitamin C. This is supposed to gently buff and brighten and is oil free. They have a whole lemon and vitamin C range, and while I don’t use Clean & Clear I know someone who will absolutely love this.

FWB3

Next we have the Biore Witch Hazel Ultra  Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. This is supposed to remove 2x more deep pore clogs. I love a good pore strip and I actually haven’t tried these so I’m interested to see how it works.

FWB4

Moving on we have the NYX Lip Lingerie in 16, Cheekies. This is a warm pinky nude shade and it’s really pretty. I have a couple of these and I really like them, they dry down to a nice matte, they’re light on the lips and they’re long lasting.

FWB5

The next product we have is the Nivea Coconut and Monoi Oil lotion. I’ve used Nivea lotions in the past and found them to be really moisturizing and always great smelling.

FWB6

The second to last product we have is the Schick Intuition f.a.b. razor. This came at the perfect time because I was going to buy a new razor. So I’ve been using this since I got it and I like it. This has moisture gel so it glides really smooth and with this razor you can shave forwards and backwards.

FWB7

And the last product we have is the Sofia Vergara Lost In Paradise perfume. This has a floral and fruity scent with a woody undertone. It does smell nice but I think for me personally it’s a little too floral.

FWB8

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your Fall Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next season :).

July Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month, I thought today would be the perfect day to talk about my July favorites. I have an interesting mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my July Sephora Play Box, I’ll of course link that post below if you haven’t read it. And my Play favorite is the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes and Lips. You guys know how much I love this. I’ve been using it for ages and it not only takes off every stay proof, waterproof, long lasting bit of makeup, but it does so with a gentle formula so there’s no scrubbing or irritation.

JLSP2

Next up we have the Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon in Glace. Again, this is something I’ve been using for a little while and it’s just so good. This particular shade is like a dusty mauve and it’s so pretty. These lip crayons are super pigmented and really long wearing. I have quite a few Bite Beauty products and honestly they’re all great. If you’ve never checked them out then I highly recommend doing so.

JLSP7

JLSP8

My last Play favorite is the Marc Jacobs Fragrances Daisy Love Eau So Sweet. This is a scent that I would describe as very summery. It’s floral, fruity and just a little bit sugary, which is perfect. This isn’t one of those perfumes that you have to worry about being completely faded by the end of the day, it wears well and lasts a long time. I definitely recommend smelling this if you haven’t and you get the chance.

JLSP9

My second to last beauty favorite is the Pantene Intense Rescue Shots. I received this first in my Walmart Beauty Box, link below, and in my Target Beauty Box later, link below. So I figured I would give it a try. I take pretty good care of my hair so I didn’t know if it would really do a lot, but I have to say that I’m impressed. You use this after you’ve shampooed and conditioned and you apply it from the middle of your hair to the ends. It’s purpose is to target any damage you may have and to help prevent split ends, what I’ve noticed is that the portion of my hair I applied it has been softer than normal and I quite like that.

WBB9

And my last beauty favorite is Aloe Vera. Earlier this month I was doing something I’m going to talk about later in this post, outside in the heat of the day, for a long period of time, and I got the worst sunburn I’ve had in a really long time. It was so red and so painful and using aloe absolutely saved me. It ended up not peeling and actually turned into a nice little tan.

My next favorite is a book and it’s Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I talked about the show adaptation in my favorites last month and after watching and loving that I decided that I had to read the book. I absolutely loved it, it was so funny and now I fully understand why so many people have loved this book for so long. It’s just fantastic. I 1000% recommend reading it if you haven’t and watching the show because David Tennant and Michael Sheen are incredible and do an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life.

JLYF5

Moving on, my next favorite is my sunflowers and the planter box I built for them, aka the thing that caused my sunburn. Back in June a neighbor of mine told me she had some extra sunflower starts that she didn’t have a use for and I very happily took them off her hands. I knew that sunflowers like to root pretty deep and have space to grow so I decided to build my own planter box. It came out so good, I’m super happy with it and the sunflowers have been thriving since I put them in there. I have to give a shout out to my dad for helping me with this because my woodworking experience is limited.

And my last favorite is a music favorite. It’s the song Superstitious by Europe. I feel like Europe is a band that gets forgotten about/people don’t know has more songs than Final Countdown. But my discovering this song was totally random, it popped up in my recommended on YouTube and I’m glad I clicked because I really like it. I listen to a lot of music and this song has one of, in my opinion, the best guitar solos. It’s just so good. And I would definitely say to give this song a listen if you haven’t, it’s pretty great.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your July favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great July :).

Spring Walmart Beauty Box Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’m back with round two of the Walmart Beauty Box, this time it’s the Spring edition. I will say that I was surprised at how long it took me to receive this box, I got it on June 28th, because it’s supposed to be for Spring but I was told by the company that they ship in waves and here we are. I’m just glad that it arrived. The theme for this box is Purely Pretty, which fits nicely with this time of year.

The bag for this season is pretty cute. It’s made of canvas, is a light khaki color with a bright pink zipper and mini pink Walmart logos.

The first product we have is the Tresemme Between Washes Volumizing Dry Shampoo. This is supposed to give you volume and refresh your hair so you can give yourself a gorgeous hairstyle. And it’s not supposed to leave behind any residue like some dry shampoos can. I have a few dry shampoos that I really like, so I’m interested to see how this compares to those.

WBB4

Next up we have the Pantene Intense Rescue Shots. You put it on after you shampoo and condition and you’re supposed to apply it from the middle of your hair to the ends and it’s supposed to target any damage you may have and help to prevent spilt ends. I take pretty good care of my hair but I’ve been seeing this everywhere so I’m interested to see if it makes any difference.

WBB9

Moving on we have the Salon Perfect Done In One Brow Pomade. This is supposed to sculpt, shape and define your brows. It comes with a double ended brush and the pomade comes in a little pot. When it comes to my brows I’m a powder girl, so I don’t have a ton of first hand experience with pomades. But from the looks of it this is very similar to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade and I know there’s a ton of affordable dupes for that, so I’m going to give this to a friend who uses the ABH Dipbrow and see what she thinks of this.

WBB7

The next product we have is the Soo AE Purifying Black Charcoal Mask. This is a sheet mask that has green tea extract, green caviar extract and it supposed to hydrate and moisturize. I love sheet masks, especially charcoal masks, so I’m excited to try this out.

WBB6

The second to last product we have is the Hello Activated Charcoal with Fresh Mint and Coconut Oil, fluoride free whitening toothpaste. I’ve never used a charcoal toothpaste, I don’t know how I feel about them, so we’ll see how this goes.

WBB5

The last product we have is the Purely Inspired Collagen Peptides Vitality Blend with Biotin. This is a gluten free, diary free, no sugar added, non gmo, Keto certified, Paleo certified unflavored dietary supplement. You’re supposed to mix this in with 8 ounces of water or whatever liquid you want and take it once a day. I do take vitamins but I typically don’t take things like this, so we’ll see.

WBB8

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your Spring Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next season :).
