April 2022 Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month, I thought it would be the perfect time to do my April Favorites. I feel like this month went by so fast and I was so busy so I don’t have a huge list, but it’s a good mix so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, all of my beauty favorites are from my April BoxyCharm box and if you haven’t read that post, I’ll link it below. My first beauty favorite is the Beauty Bakerie Sour Ya Doin’? Palette. I have a ‘Three Recent Looks’ post coming with this palette so I won’t say too much. But I think it’s fantastic. The formulation, the pigmentation, it’s all top tier. Very well done by Beauty Bakerie.

My next favorite is the Dominique Cosmetics Creamy Fill & Define Lip Liner in Crush. This is so good! It’s very creamy, goes on smooth, and it has the teardrop shape so you can use the top to get that precise line and the bottom to fill in. I really like this color as well, it’s a nice light/medium nudey brown so it will go with so many lipsticks. I also used this as an all over lip color, which I do often with lip liners to get a true sense of their color and I recommend it. I also recommend this lip liner.

And my last beauty favorite is the Flirtacious Looks Cosmetics The Perfect Duel: Foundation Travel Set and specifically the sponge, the Quick Beat. At first I thought this sponge was maybe a little firmer than what I usually like, but after I wet it it softened up and I do like it. It has a sharp tip and a flat edge for smooth application and you can tell when you’re applying that it is going on smooth and blending well. I don’t like this as much as the Real Techniques sponges, but it’s a good sponge.

Moving on I have a TV Show favorite and it’s Selling Sunset Season 5 on Netflix. I’ve been watching since season 1 so I have my favorite cast members, but the fashion and the real estate have really elevated over the five seasons and I can’t wait to see what they wear and what they sell next.

And my last favorite is a music favorite. It’s the Heavy Load Blues (Deluxe Edition) album from Gov’t Mule. This is a band I’ve been listening to for years and I think this is one of the best albums to date. Not only is it one of their best, I really think that this is the blues album the world needs right now. Top to bottom it’s full of great songs and I definitely recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your April favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great April :).

November Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month I thought it would be the perfect time to do my November favorites. I wanted to mention that I am going to be doing Blogmas this year and I’m excited about it, so look out for that coming soon! Back to the favorites, I feel like I have a pretty good mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with Beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my November BoxyCharm box, and if you haven’t read that I’ll link it below. My first Boxy favorite is the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. This is a full coverage eyeshadow base that gives your shadow a longer wear time and amplifies both matte and shimmer shadows. I’ve been using this since I got it and I really like it. It has just the right amount of tack to it, but it’s not too sticky or too wet. This has made it’s way into my rotation of eyeshadow bases and I definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re in the market for an eyeshadow base.

IMG_9687

My next Boxy favorite is the Violet Voss Violet Sunset Eyeshadow and Pressed Pigment Palette. I’m not going to say too much about this because I have a ‘Three Recent Looks’ post coming soon with it, but I really, really like it. The color story is nice, the formulation and color payoff is great and it’s very versatile. Definitely a palette I recommend, and from this I’ve been looking through the Violet Voss website to see which palette I want to buy next.

IMG_9688

IMG_9690

My last Boxy favorite and second to last beauty favorite is the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. This bronzer is supposed to give you a sun kissed Hawaiian look and it really does. It’s long-wearing, really smooth and super buildable. This bronzer has quickly made it’s way into my top favorites.

IMG_9691

IMG_9693

IMG_9703

And my last beauty favorite is my Thanksgiving makeup. I always try to do something in the fall color palette, usually orange/brown/gold and this year I’m super happy with what I came up with.

IMG_9824

Moving on to more random favorites, we have Thanksgiving itself. It’s always one of my favorite holidays because the food is so good and it’s nice to just chill and hangout. I make apple pie every year and it always comes out great, but this year it seemed extra good and I think it looked really nice.

IMG_9830

I have a couple of TV show favorites and they both happen to come from Netflix. The first is the Great British Bake Off. The current season just finished and I can honestly say that this has been one of my favorite seasons in a while. I genuinely really liked the final three so much and would have been happy with any of them winning. I won’t spoil who won in case anyone hasn’t seen it, but I will tell you that it made me cry. I swear I get the most emotional watching baking shows lol.

My second Netflix favorite is season 4 of Selling Sunset. I watched it in 3 days. I think the combination of having to wait so long between seasons 3 and 4 coupled with the fact that I had seen and heard some things from the season as they were happening made me want to watch it more and it was SO good. I cannot wait for season 5 to come out because I am team Jason and Chrishell and I think it’s going to be really sweet to see their relationship on screen. Also, the fashion is incredible and the houses are just next level.

And my last favorite is a music favorite and it’s Joe Bonamassa’s new album Time Clocks. I swear every time Joe releases an album it’s better than the one before it and that is definitely the case with this one. It’s genre bending, which Joe is incredible at, but it’s still the blues at the roots and I love so many of the songs. I definitely, definitely recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t yet.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we have any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your November favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great November :).

February Favorites

Hi everyone,

Today, as it’s the end of the month, I thought it would the perfect time to do my February favorites. I have quite a few things to talk about, across various categories, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple favorites from my February Sephora Play Box, I will link that below if you haven’t read it. My first Play favorite is the Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Cream. I’ve been using this since I got it and my skin is absolutely loving it. It’s light, it sinks in really quickly and it does hydrate for a long period of time. It reminds me a lot of the Clinique Moisture Surge which I love so much, and I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something really hydrating.

IMG_5154

My other Play favorite is the KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Setting Powder. I’ve been using this for a while, I’m wearing it today, and it’s one of my favorite setting powders. It really does lock everything in place and I like it for baking.

IMG_5155

IMG_5156

Next we have is the Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer. I got a sample of this with a Sephora order and I was happy to see that it was a sample option because I had been wanting to try before I buy. This concealer is so freaking good. It’s long wearing, doesn’t cake, takes well to powder and pretty much made my under eye invisible. It’s that good and if you haven’t tried it I would definitely say do it.

My second to last beauty favorite is the Too Faced Fall In Love With Your Lashes Set. This set is adorable. It comes in the shape of a heart and you get a full size Better Than Sex mascara and a mini Damn Girl mascara. Better Than Sex is one of my all time favorite mascaras, it gives my lashes volume and length. I haven’t yet tried Damn Girl but I’ve heard great things about it and the brush is pretty big and looks like it will get all your lashes, so I’m excited to wear it.

IMG_5139

IMG_5141

IMG_5142

IMG_5143

IMG_5144

And my last beauty favorite is the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Spice palette. I did a whole post on this, which I’ll link below, but I’m really enjoying it and it’s different than other palettes I have so I’m having fun with the unique looks I’m creating.

IMG_5122

Moving on, I have a tech favorite and it’s the TP Link WiFi Extender. I have a couple of WiFi dead zones that have become more annoying recently so I went on the hunt for a booster/extender and I found this one on Amazon. It came highly rated and I can see why. It’s super easy to connect and it does it’s job really well.

And my last two favorites aren’t music favorites but podcasts. The first is Dinner With Racers. DWR is hosted by Sean Heckman, long time PR man in racing and Ryan Eversley, race car driver. They travel around talking to various race car drivers and people within motorsports. It’s always really funny, super informative and one of my all time favorite podcasts. They recently released a bunch of new episodes and they have a show on Amazon Prime, which I recommend giving a watch. The Poster episode had me cackling, it was fantastic.

The other podcast is called The Afterburn Podcast. Former U.S. Air Force F-16 pilot, John “Rain” Waters, sits down with various pilots and others to share their stories and how they got to where they are. I find podcasts like this super interesting and I’m really enjoying it so far.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorite this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great February :).

December Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month I thought this would be the perfect time to do my December favorites. This month has been really busy, but I did manage to try new products and find some things I love. With that being said, let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my December Sephora Play Box and I’ll link that below. The first favorite is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea-Drink H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer. I’ve been using this since I got it and so far I’m really liking it. It has hyaluronic acid and squalane to plump and hydrate, Rainforest of the Sea complex to help reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles and an electrolyte balancing complex to moisturize and promote balanced skin. I think the Rainforest of the Sea collection is fantastic, so I recommend it.

DCSP2

My next beauty favorite is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer 42. I have a couple of these and I think they’re so good. They glide on really smooth, they’re long wearing and they don’t smudge.

DCSP3

My second to last beauty favorite is the Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. This is one of the best creams out there, in my opinion, it’s a holy grail cream for a lot of people. It smells incredible, it’s fast absorbing and it makes my skin super soft. This is a product I will always recommend.

DCSP6

And my last beauty favorite is from the Fab Fit Fun Starter Box, I’ll link that post down below. This is the Moroccan Gold Series Leave-In Mask. You spray this in your hair when it’s damp and comb through. It nourishes and conditions, helps to detangle and locks in moisture. I’ve been using this since I got it and I can see a little difference in my hair. Plus is smells really good.

FFF8

My next favorite is a TV show and it’s Brian Johnson’s A Life On The Road on AXS. The basis of the show is AC/DC’s Brian Johnson sits down with his musician friends and they talk about the person’s career and a little bit about their life. I love shows like this and I’ve been really enjoying it.

And my last favorite is Paul Rodgers The Royal Sessions album. I discovered this album while watching an episode of A Life On The Road and I’m glad I did. Paul Rodgers has always been one of my favorites, other musicians call him The Voice and say that he’s probably never sung a wrong note and honestly they’re not wrong. He’s been doing this for so long and his voice is so solid. The Royal Sessions album has a mix of blues, soul and rhythm and blues songs. I think it’s really fun and it’s produced so well. I definitely recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your December favorites were.

Until next time, I want to thank each and every one of you for reading, following, liking, commenting, and sharing, it means a lot and here’s to a great 2020 :).

September Favorites

Hi everyone,

Happy October and Happy Spooky Season. I’m a couple days late, but today I’m going to be doing my September favorites. I feel like the first half of September flew by and the second half moved at a snail’s pace, but in that time there were a few things that became favorites. And with that being said, let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty I have a couple of favorites from my September Sephora Play Box, which I’ll link below. My first being the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer. This primer is oil free, has a matte finish, does a great job of blurring pores and is safe for sensitive skin. I don’t use matte primer a lot but this one I’ve really been liking. It does have a scent, which isn’t something I typically like, but this is a fruity/fresh smell so it’s not bad at all. First Aid Beauty makes some of my favorite skincare products and this is now one of them.

SPSP3

My other Play favorite is the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara in Classic Black. I honestly can’t even tell you how much I love this mascara. From the minute I put it on I was so impressed. It makes my lashes really full and voluminous and super long. Lashes for days. The formula is great because it’s really smooth, I haven’t experienced any flaking or transfer and because it’s so smooth it’s really buildable so no lashes sticking together and looking clumpy. I also really like the brush. Its nice and big and it gets all of my lashes. I highly recommend.

SPSP5

SPSP6

My second to last beauty favorite is a nail polish. It’s Sinful Colors 2621, Nakey Nay from the Naughty Nudes Collection. This polish is so pretty. It’s a bronzey almost caramel color and when the light hits it you can really see the depth and the sparkle. I’ve looked into the rest of the Naughty Nudes Collection and it all looks so nice and like I’m going to be buying more nail polish soon.

SEPT2

SEPT3

SEPT1

And my last beauty favorite is my new hair. I had been growing my hair for so long and I decided it was time to change it up. I knew that I wanted to cut a lot of it off, it ended up being somewhere between 12-15 inches, and I knew that I wanted to be more blonde again. So I told my hairdresser and she went from there. I didn’t ever think that I would do anything in the red family but I really like the shade she chose and overall I’m so happy with it and I feel like it brightens me up, which I’m happy about.

SEPT4

Moving on I have a TV show favorite and it’s Downton Abbey. I was scrolling through Amazon looking for something to watch after finishing a show and I came across Downton. I didn’t watch it when it was on originally but I know what a huge success it was and continues to be. I’m currently on season 3, I think I have one or two episodes left but I’m absolutely loving it. I’m excited to see the movie as well. If you’ve seen the movie, no spoilers, but I’d love to know what you thought.

And my last favorite is a music favorite, and it’s This Train from Joe Bonamassa’s Live At The Sydney Opera House album, which is available on October 25th. This is one of those really fun songs that’s like the perfect balance of bluesy and bouncy. And I’m excited to hear the rest of the album and I definitely recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great September :).

September favorites

Hi everyone,

Happy October! I’m a couple of days late, but today I’m going to be doing my September favorites. I have a pretty good mix of things to talk about, so let’s get into it.

First up we have beauty, I have a couple favorites from my September Sephora Play Box and I will link that below if you haven’t read it. First up we have the Sephora LashCraft Big Volume Mascara in Black. I really like this mascara, it goes on smooth, doesn’t clump and makes my lashes look really full. I would definitely say to check this out if you’re looking for a new mascara.

SSP2

Next we have the Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer. This has coconut water and other energizing and replenishing ingredients and it holds up to it’s name. Just a little bit gives you a bright and dewy face and a great canvas for your makeup or to just go about your day.

SSP6

My last beauty favorite is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Earth)Quake. This is a dark chocolatey brown eyeliner, which I love because it not only will go with a ton of different looks but I have green eyes and browns really make them pop. The first time I wore this was a day when I was doing dirty work because I wanted to see how it would stand up and I was impressed. It’s long lasting and it doesn’t smudge. It definitely rates high with me.

SSP4

SSP5

My next favorite is a food favorite and it’s Pepperidge Farm Pirouettes. If you don’t know what these are, they’re crème filled rolled wafers. I was in the grocery store, saw these and had to get them. I hadn’t had these in at least ten years and I always remember eating them around this time of year with hot chocolate, so I thought why not. And I honestly wanted to see if they were as good as I thought. I bought the French Vanilla and they were so good.

Moving on, I have a TV show favorite and it’s the X Factor UK. Out of all the singing competition shows this one is definitely my favorite. This season they have a new crop of judges, Simon Cowell, Louis Tomlinson, Ayda Williams and Robbie Williams and I’m loving it. Sometimes when a show brings on new people it doesn’t really flow or it takes a while but I think this really works and it was a good choice. If any of you are watching let me know what you think and who you’re loving. There’s a lot of talent this season.

And lastly I have some music favorites. The first is Paul McCartney’s newest album Egypt Station. I talked about this before it came out because I was loving the singles and it did not disappoint. Top to bottom it’s a fantastic album and I can’t choose just one song that’s my favorite.

My second music favorite is Take That Odyssey. Take That is celebrating their 30th anniversary and to celebrate they are going on tour and releasing a new album titled Odyssey . It has some of classic and fan favorite songs, some that have been revamped and a couple new ones. So far they have released the Odyssey version of Pray, which is one of my favorite Take That songs, and it’s absolutely beautiful. Gary Barlow’s vocals are just incredible.

And my last music favorite is Peaches and Diesel by Eric Clapton. This song is from the Slowhand album, which is for sure one of my favorite EC albums. When I heard it it made me stop what I was doing and really listen, you know those songs that just have that effect on you, and I love every minute of it. I would one million percent say to go and listen to it and everything else that I mentioned. They’re all on YouTube and iTunes.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same September favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you all had a great September :).

June favorites

Hi everyone,

Today, as it is the end of the month, I’m going to be doing my June favorites. This month was really busy for me so I didn’t try a whole lot of new things, but I do have a good mix in here, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my June Sephora Play Box, which I will link down below if you haven’t read it. My first favorite is the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Queen B. These are some of my favorite lipsticks, the color range is great and I really like the formulation. I’ve been wearing this shade for a while so I was happy to see a product I already loved. It’s a light mauve and it’s quite versatile, it goes well with a ton of different makeup looks.

JNSP6

JNSP7

My next beauty favorite is the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes and Lips. I’ve been using this every night since I got it and I really like it. I wear a lot of long wear makeup products and this takes them right off. And I really appreciate the gentle formula, it doesn’t sting or irritate my skin. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a new makeup remover.

JNSP4

And my last beauty favorite is the Murad Nutrient-Charged Water Gel. Like the makeup remover, I’ve been using this since I got it and I’m really impressed. I’ve never used a water gel before but it is incredibly moisturizing and it makes my face really soft. If you’ve never used a water gel definitely try it out.

JNSP3

Moving on, I have a TV show favorite and it’s Caribbean Pirate Treasure. It’s on Travel Channel and it follows Philippe Cousteau, grandson of Jacques Cousteau, and his wife Ashlan as they go to different destinations, and dive for treasure, ship remains or whatever the situation that has brought them there. My brother told me about this show and I’m glad he did. You guys know how much I love history and this has that and it also has a little bit of mystery. All in all it’s a really fun show.

Before I get to the rest of my favorites, I want to say that I’m still loving Poshmark, a favorite from months and months ago, and I have a range of different products in my closet, so if you guys are interested I’m KyraSage18.

My second to last favorite is a race that just took place, probably the biggest race of the year in any motorsport, the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This race takes place at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France every year since 1923 and is always full of drama and excitement and this year was no exception. Whether you watch an hour or the full 24 hours it’s a great event to see.

My last favorite is a music favorite, but not just any music, Paul McCartney’s new music. Paul has a new album coming out September 7th, titled Egypt Station, I have preordered it. But he’s released two songs from it, I Don’t Know and Come On To Me. They are both so different, I Don’t Know is more piano driven and slower while Come On To Me is upbeat and more on the fun rock side. But when you hear them they both sound like classic Paul McCartney. I’m honestly so excited to hear the rest of the album. And if you haven’t heard these two songs I would 100% say to go and listen to them.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we have any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you all had a great June :).

March favorites

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be doing my March favorites. It’s crazy how fast March went by but here we are and I think I have a good mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my March Sephora Play Box, which I will link below if you haven’t read yet. The first is the bag itself, It’s blue tie dye and it says ‘Beauty Is My Spirit Animal’ in white lettering and it has dark blue drawstrings. The theme for this month was Festival of Beauty and it really came through with both the design and the products.

MPB1

My next beauty favorite is the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner. This eye liner is absolutely fantastic and I can 100% understand why so many people love it. This is definitely going to be staple in my makeup bag.

MPB5

My second to last beauty favorite is the Amika Nourishing Mask. I used this in my hair two days ago and I’m really happy with it. Not only does it smell amazing, but it has made my hair extra soft. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a good hair mask.

MPB7

And my last beauty favorite is the Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm. You put this on before you put your makeup on and it gives your skin a little extra oomph and brightness. I didn’t know if I would like this, but I really do.

MPB2

Moving on, I have a couple of food favorites, the first is Tim’s Cascade Chips. I’m not someone who eats chips a lot but if I’m craving them Tim’s is what I go for.  The flavor that’s in my pantry right now is the Original Lightly Salted, but all the flavors are great.

My next food favorite is Kinder Joy. I watch a lot of British YouTubers and I always see them eating Kinder Eggs and Kinder chocolate and I’ve always wanted to try it but I knew the eggs were banned in America. So when I saw Kinder Joy in Albertsons I was really surprised but I picked one up and the chocolate was really good. And in Kinder Eggs you get a little toy, so they would make a great addition to Easter baskets.

And my last food favorite is actually a drink and it’s Sprite Cranberry. Sprite is my favorite soda and I do really like cranberries and the cranberry flavor and this didn’t disappoint. It was refreshing and the cranberry was just right.

My next favorite is Major League Baseball. Yesterday was Opening Day for baseball and I could not be happier that it’s back. It’s my favorite sport and I’m excited to cheer on my Mariners. Game 1 certainly was exciting and I can’t wait for the rest of the remaining 161 games. I think they’re going to have a great season.

I have a TV show favorite this month and it’s The Curse of Civil War Gold on History Channel. It’s along the same vein as The Curse of Oak Island, which is one of my top five favorite shows, but this one is about possible Civil War gold at the bottom of Lake Michigan. I personally do believe that there is gold at the bottom of the lake and I hope Kevin Dykstra and his team are able to find it.

And my last couple of favorites are music favorites. The first is Take Me To The Pilot by Elton John. I came across this song in a very random way, I was on YouTube watching an old episode of the Graham Norton Show, which I love, and Elton was a guest along with Jack Black and they got talking about the song and I knew I had heard the title before but couldn’t remember the song itself. So I looked it up and it’s great, a really fun song.

My next song favorite is Mr. Blue Sky by ELO. I’ve loved this song for a long time, but have come back to it recently because it’s a fantastic spring and summer song. It’s one that you want to play with the windows down.

My last music favorite is Jeff Lynne’s ELO Wembley Or Bust album from their concert at Wembley Stadium in 2017. Top to bottom it’s a fantastic album full of amazing songs, I don’t know that I could pick one favorite but I love All Over The World, Rockaria, Shine A Little Love and When I Was A Boy, that one reminds me of my dad and if I keep listing songs I’ll end up listing the whole album. It’s on iTunes and YouTube so definitely go and give it a listen along with the other songs I mentioned.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did love during March.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great March :).

February favorites

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be doing my February favorites. This is a short month as it is, but I really feel like February flew by. I have a pretty good mix of things, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my February Sephora Play Box, if you haven’t read that post I’ll link it down below. The first is the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. I’ve used a couple different eye creams in the past and this is by far my favorite. I can tell it’s already made a difference and I highly, highly recommend this if you’re looking for an eye cream.

Next we have the Sephora Collection Rouge Matte Lipstick in M11 Rebel Chic. I would describe this lipstick as the perfect berry. It’s not too red and it’s not too purple. The next time I wear it I’ll hopefully remember to take a picture because it is gorgeous on.

And my last beauty favorite is another lipstick and it’s the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 5855 Let’s Go Crazy. I had an interesting reaction when I initially unboxed this, I thought it was great because I love NARS then I swatched it and saw the color and I got a little nervous. It’s very bright and very pink but all of that went away when I put it on. It’s not as bright on and it’s a gorgeous shade of pink. Like the Sephora lipstick, the next time I wear this I’ll have to remember to take a picture.

Moving on I have a food favorite. The first is Noosa yogurt. I may or may not have mentioned this yogurt before, but I have two new favorite flavors. The first is key lime. It’s a flavor of yogurt I’ve always loved and when I saw that they had it I had to try it and I love it. And the second is coconut. As a flavor I generally like coconut, I really like Almond Joys, but I don’t ever buy coconut yogurt. I’m glad that I did because it’s so good, I definitely recommend it.

My next favorite will be a shock to no one and it’s NHRA drag racing. The season started earlier this month, we are two races in and it’s already been absolutely insane. Drag racing is my favorite motorsport, it goes NHRA IMSA and IndyCar. I don’t really watch Formula 1 anymore, I’ll catch a race or two during the season but I don’t keep up with it. But back to drag racing, I’m so happy it’s back and I’m back to writing about it and I’ll do so for the rest of the season. So if you’re interested keep an eye out for those posts.

Second to last we have a TV show and it’s season two of The Grand Tour. I love this show, I’ve always loved Clarkson, Hammond and May and I was excited when they decided to do a second season. Considering how much time they collectively spent in the hospital it’s great that they were able to make a full season and I hope they do many more, without the hospital visits of course.

And lastly I have a couple of music favorites. Three songs to be specific. The first is You Got It by Roy Orbison. This song randomly came on my Pandora and it made me smile because I hadn’t heard it in so long. I’m pretty sure they use the chorus of this song for a commercial or two, but the song as a whole is great.

The next song is Love Is For Me by Joe Cocker. I’ve never been a hardcore Joe Cocker fan, but he does have a few songs that I do really like and this is one of them. It’s bluesy, you guys know how much I love the blues and it’s a really fun song to sing.

And my last song favorite is Club At The End Of The Street by Elton John. Sir Elton John has always been one of my favorites, The Grammy’s are doing a salute to Elton later this year and I’m excited to see it. When I came across this song I was shocked because I had never heard it but it’s a really fun song. If you haven’t heard this, or the other two songs definitely look them up on YouTube.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great February :).

January favorites

Hi everyone,

As today is January 30th, I thought it would be the perfect time to do my January favorites. I have a pretty good range of items so lets get into it.

Starting with beauty, I didn’t really try out a whole lot of new products this month so I only have two things, one actual product and one honorable mention. The actual item is the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. I ordered two of these, one in Champagne and the other in Natural, and the one I’m using right now is Champagne. But these are probably one of my favorite lip products I’ve ever used. Not only do they smell good, but they are incredibly moisturizing and they make my lips so soft. I highly recommend them. And my honorable mention is the Bite Beauty Sephora Insider birthday gift. I talked about that recently so I’ll leave a link to that post down below.

Moving on to fashion, we have a pair of Fabletics leggings. I bought these recently and have since worn them a couple of times and I really like them. The fit is great and I love the pattern.

Next up I have an app favorite and it’s Homescapes. I’ve been seeing this app everywhere for a while and a few of my friends have it so the other night when I couldn’t fall asleep I downloaded it and I love it. It didn’t help me with falling asleep because I was hooked and now I understand why it’s so popular.

Since I’m on the subject of apps, I know I mentioned Poshmark a little while ago, still loving it, and yesterday I added a bunch of new items to my closet. I’m KyraSage18 for anyone interested :).

From apps we go to TV shows, I don’t watch a whole lot of TV but this month I’ve really been loving season two of Better Late Than Never. If you’ve never watched it stars William Shatner, Henry Winkler, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye and they go on adventures all over the world. In my opinion it’s one of the funniest shows, nothing makes me cry laugh like this show but there are also some really endearing moments. And I definitely recommend checking it out.

My second to last favorite is IMSA. Their season just started with the 24 of Daytona, one of my favorite races, and it was a great race. Besides drag racing, IMSA is my favorite series so I’m happy it’s back.

And my last favorite is a music favorite and it’s the song The Core by Eric Clapton. You guys know how much I love EC, he’s one of my favorites. This song is one that I heard a long time ago, really liked and then never really did anything about, didn’t buy it from iTunes or anything like that. Then last week I saw a video of Clapton playing it during a concert and it reminded me just how much I love it. It’s from the Slowhand album, which is an album I think people tend to forget about because it’s an earlier album but it has some of my favorite songs on it. Definitely check out the song and the album if you haven’t listened to either.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what you guys loved this month.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great January :).
