Three Recent Looks, Too Faced You Drive Me Glazy Palette

Hi everyone,

As promised, today we have one of my favorite styles of post, a Three Recent Looks, and this time it’s all about the Too Faced You Drive Me Glazy Palette. I’ve really been liking this palette a lot, there’s a lot of versatility and I definitely recommend.

So, for the first look I wanted to do something with the lighter shades, so I went for a champagne sparkle and it’s become one of my favorite subtle sparkly looks.

The first thing I did was prime my face, and you won’t see this in any of the pictures because I had a sample and simply threw it away when I was done without thinking, but I used the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed and to do that, I used the third shade in the Ace Beaute Bronzed In Paradise Palette. Then I applied the Kiss Miss blush from the Too Faced You Drive Me Glazy palette and used the shade Glowing from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette, to highlight.

When it came to my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette and in the crease, I applied a light-ish layer of Drummer Girl. Then, all over my lid, I applied Ho Ho-Nut. I then took Drummer Girl and ran it about 3/4 of the way under my eye and for the rest and the inner corner of my eye, applied Ho Ho-Nut. I lined my eyes with the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner and topped it off with the Laura Gellar Lash Boss Mascara. For my lips, I lined them first with the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner and on top of that, applied the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in Pillow Talk. I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

For my second look I did something that I do with most every palette, if it’s an option, a brown and gold combo. Now, with this palette there are multiple ways to do brown and gold, but this was the one I was feeling on the day.

The first thing I did was prime my face with the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I went into the Ofra Mini Mix Face Palette in Good To Go and used that for everything. Bronzer is Current, blush is Intentions and highlight is the lightest shade from All Of The Lights.

The first thing I did for my eyes was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into then palette and using Maple Bar, I created a little wing, then brought it about halfway onto my lid. For the rest of my lid I applied Such A Snowflake. I then brought Maple Bar under my eye about halfway and for the rest and the inner corner of my eye, applied more of Such A Snowflake. I wanted a little more depth, but didn’t want to overpower the look with a lot of liner, so I took the NYX Slide On Glide On Eyeliner Pencil in SL15 – Brown Perfection, and did just a little. I topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips, I started to line them with the Beauty Vaulte Kozy Kira liner, but ended up putting it all over my lips, and for a little shine, topped that with a very light layer of the Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Glossy Balm in Nearly Neutral. I set everything with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

For the third look I wanted to do something more dramatic and use one of the darker shades I had been eyeing because it’s really pretty in the pan and I liked the swatch. I will say, I don’t love how it translated onto the eye, and I had the same problem with this shadow that I did with the shade Jam Packed. I don’t know if it’s just a formulation issue, but by the end of the day, there was only a small line of it left on my eye.

But, as for how I did it, I first primed my face with the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set it with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Translucent.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer. Then I applied the Kiss Miss blush and highlighted with the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette, I applied a very light layer of Drummer Girl in the crease. Then all over my lid, I applied Blueberry Blitzen. I didn’t want too dark of an undereye, so I applied Drummer Girl 90% of the way, and for the inner corner of my eye, applied a little bit of the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter. I lined my eyes with the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner and topped it off with the Too faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I lined my lips with the Model Co Illusion Lip liner, then filled them in with a light layer of the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lip Balm in Roller Boogie, which I’m really liking, and for a little more shine, I topped that with just a bit of the Nars Afterglow Lip Shine in Orgasm. And I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, if you have a favorite look let me know which, and if you have this palette, I’d love to know what your favorite look is that you’ve done with it. Like I said, this is one of my favorite styles of post, so look out for more in the future.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).

Halloween Inspired Makeup Looks

Hi everyone,

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted, but now that it’s getting into the holiday season I wanted to start posting again. I find the content comes a little bit easier during this time of the year, and to that end, today I have a Halloween inspired makeup looks post for you guys. I love this style of post, so I’m excited to be doing it again.

I have two different looks to talk about today, both of which I really love. I think the first one I like a little bit more, but it’s a purple and silver look.

So, the first thing I did was prime my face, and to do that I applied the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, then I dropped it on my bathroom floor so it’s currently a little broken and I’m sad about it. Then I went into the Ofra Charm Your Cheeks Mini Blush Palette and applied a mix of Pink Satin and Candy Apple. And I highlighted using a mix of Icy and Poppin’ from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette and taking the shade Carnival, applied it in the crease. Next I went to the Ace Beaute Falling For You Palette and took the shade Chestnut, applied it in the crease lightly, making sure to really blend it. Then I brought it down and packed it on the outer corner of my eye. For the rest of my eye, I applied the shade Cyborg from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. I then took a mix of Carnival and Chestnut and put that under my eye about 3/4 of the way and for the inner corner of my eye, applied Poppin’ from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Because this is a specialized look and I had a specific vision in mind, I decided to put some lashes on and specifically the Flirtacious Looks Cosmetics Baby Girl lashes. For my lips I wanted a shade I didn’t have, so I made it by mixing the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in 31 and the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Muse. And I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

The second look I did is an orange and green, pumpkin inspired look. So the first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, then I applied the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and I highlighted with the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Beauty Bakerie Sour Ya Doin’? Palette and in the crease, applied a mix of Bellini Me and Choctails. I then applied Refresher across my entire eyelid and to add a little dimension, I applied, and blended, just a little bit of Vacation from the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette, into the top of the Bellini Me and Choctails mix. I didn’t line my eyes this time, I just went straight to lashes and again, applied the Flirtacious Looks Cosmetics Baby Girl lashes. Then, for the green aspect I took Theme Park from the Nostalgia Palette and mixed that with Silico from the PowerPuff Girls x ColourPop Palette and in the inner corner of my eye, I applied a little bit of the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter. For my lips I first lined them with the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, let me know which of the two looks is your favorite and if you’re doing a fun look for Halloween, I’d love to know what it is!

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and have a Happy Halloween :).

Three Recent Looks, Beauty Bakerie Sour Ya Doin’? Palette

Hi everyone,

Today we’re back with one of my favorite styles of post, a Three Recent Looks and this time it’s with the Beauty Bakerie Sour Ya Doin’? Palette. You guys, this palette is SO GOOD! The formulation is great, as is the color range. All the shadows are very pigmented, go on smooth and creamy and blend very well. Beauty Bakerie did a fantastic job with this one.

This is a 9 pan palette with the theme of lemons and lemonade, it’s perfect for spring and summer.

IMG_1100

IMG_1101

So, for the first look I really wanted to play off of the lemonade theme and use the yellow shades and holy crap. The metallic shadows in this palette are truly next level. The first thing I did was prime my face and to do that I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder

IMG_1354

For the rest of my face I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, applied the blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted with a mix of the first two shades from the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient palette

IMG_1355

IMG_1362

For my eyes, I primed them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light, then I went into the palette. I took the matte yellow, Tart and blended it into the crease. Sometimes yellows can be disappointing in palettes because they are hard to formulate, but this one is nice. I then took Icy and applied it on my entire lid. Because I wanted a little extra brightness, I took the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Extra Frosting and applied it in my water line. I then took Tart and ran it 3/4 of the way under my eye and for the rest and in the inner corner of my eye, I applied a lighter layer of Icy. I lined my eyes with the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips I took the Dominique Cosmetics Creamy Fill & Define Lip Liner in Crush and used it as an all over lip color. I set the look with the Maven Beauty Rose Setting Spray

For my second look I wanted to play on the sweeter side of the Sour palette and I like this look a lot. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_1354

For the rest of my face I bronzed using the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. Then I went into the Ofra Charm Your Cheeks Mini Mix Face Palette and used a mix of the Pink Satin and Candy Apple blushes. I highlighted with a mix of Radiant and Icy from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette

IMG_1357

IMG_1364

For my eyes, I first primed them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light, then I went into the palette. I took Sour and blended that into the crease, the I took Pink Lemonade and packed that on the outer corner of my eye, bringing it in about half way. For the rest of my eye I applied Sangria, I originally thought that this would be a good shade to use as a topper, and it still would, but this stands well on it’s own and I like it a lot. I then took Pink Lemonade and ran it under my eye about half way, for the rest of the way and the inner corner of my eye, I applied Sangria. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner and filled them in with the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in 36, Spring Break. I set the look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

For the third look I wanted to use the other metallic in this palette, the orange, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder in Translucent

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer, I then used the blush from the e.l.f Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted with a mix of the first two shades from the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient Palette.

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light, then I went into the palette. I took Bellini Me and blended that in the crease and for the entirety of my lid, applied Refresher. I then took Bellini Me and put it under my eye about 3/4 of the way and for the rest of the way and in the inner corner of my eye, I applied Refresher. I lined my eyes with the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner and topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. For my lips I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. Three Recent Looks, Wander Beauty Wanderess Escape Palette

Hi everyone,

Today I have one of my favorite types of post, a Three Recent Looks, and this time it’s with the Wander Beauty Wanderess Escape Palette. I received this palette in my February BoxyCharm box and quickly discovered that I really like it, I’m actually wearing it today. Because they brand this as a ‘universal palette’ I wanted to test the range and I’m super happy with it.

When I get a new palette I do one of two things, I go for the brightest look I can put together or I go for a neutral look. And what I did with this one was go for a neutral with brown and a rose gold. For my face, the first thing I did was prime with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_0984

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. Then I applied the blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted using a mix of Glowing and Gleaming from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette

IMG_0985

IMG_0992

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. I then went into the palette. I put Nude Beach in the crease, then took Overnight and packed that onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it into the crease just a bit and blending that out. For the rest of my lid, I applied Daydream and because it’s so pretty, I then put Moonlit in the inner corner of my eye. I then took Overnight and put that under my eye, about 3/4 of the way and for the other 1/4, I applied Moonlit. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set the look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

IMG_0794

For the second look I wanted to play around with the mauve/purple shades in the palette.

IMG_0984 (1)

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was bronze with the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer. Then I applied the Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and highlighted with a mix of Glowing and Radiant from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette.

IMG_0987

IMG_0994

For my eyes, I first primed them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette and took Enchanted, putting it liberally in the crease. It’s a very buildable shade, so it was perfect to work with. Once I had built that up to where I wanted, I took Flourish and applied that to my whole lid. It’s a foiled shadow and it’s so pretty. I then took Enchanted and brought that under my eye about 3/4 of the way and the rest of the way and into the inner corner of my eye, I applied Flourish. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I went to something that’s been a combo I’ve been really liking recently. I first applied a thin layer of the Trestique Prep + Shine Lip Crayon in Paris Pink, then on top of that, I applied a thin layer of the Wander Beauty Double Duty Lip and Cheek in Rendezvous and blended them together. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

For the third look I really wanted to play off the beachy/vacation vibe you get when you look at the palette and there was a specific shadow I wanted to use. For my face, the first thing I did was prime using the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Translucent

IMG_0989

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Nars Laguna Bronzer. I then applied the blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted with a mix of Glowing and Gleaming from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette.

IMG_0996

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette, took Sunkissed and put it in the crease. For the rest of my lid I applied Sea Glass, which is a shade I’ve been excited about since I saw the palette, and it really did live up to my hopes for it. It’s such a pretty shade. I then took Sunkissed and brought it under my eye about 3/4 of the way and for the rest and into the inner corner of my eye, I applied Sea Glass. I lined my eyes with the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips, I first lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

Three Recent Looks, Too Faced Christmas In London Palette

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! Today I’m back with one of my favorite style of posts, a Three Recent Looks and this time it’s all about the Too Faced Christmas In London Palette. I find this palette to be super versatile, there’s a nice range of shades and finishes so the possibilities as far as looks go is endless really. The mattes are really smooth and blend out nicely, the shimmers are creamy and everything nicely formulated and very pigmented. The blushes are that way as well. It’s overall a very solid palette.

For the first look I wanted to do something fun but not too over the top and I do like a peachy/pink look. Overall I’m super happy with how this one came out. The first thing I did was prime my face and to do that I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_0728

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. Then I went into the Christmas In London Palette and mixed Pretty & Punk and Carnaby Sweet blushes, it looks a little dark in the swatch but I did much less in real life. And I highlighted with the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For a little brightness, I took the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Exit, and lined my waterline. I then went with Piccadilly Thrilly under my eye, about 3/4 of the way and for the rest and the inner corner of my eye, I applied Too Faced At Carnaby. Blogmas Day Ten: Holiday Makeup Looks

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Ten! Today I thought it would be fun to share some festive makeup looks that I’ve done during December. This is in the style of my Recent Looks posts and you know I always love to do those. For these looks I wanted a theme, so I went with festive colors and decided on green, red, gold and silver.

The first look I did was the green one and this has very Christmas tree/Grinch vibes depending on how you want to look at it, but I really love how this came out and it was fun to play around with green because I don’t always do that. The first thing I did was prime my face and to do that I used the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_0096

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was bronze using the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. I then used the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo Blush in Lychee and highlighted with a mix of the first two shades from the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient Palette

IMG_0098

IMG_0105

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime using the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Anastasia Beverly Hills/Norvina Mini Pro Pigment Vol 2 Palette and put the light green shadow from the top row, middle, in the crease. Then I went into the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette and packed the shade Theme Park on the outer corner of my eye, into the crease a little, and onto the lid a little more than I normally would. I then went back to the Vol 2 palette and took the green shimmer from the bottom row, middle, putting it on the rest of my lid. I then took Theme Park and ran it about 3/4 of the way under my eye, putting the green shimmer the other 1/4 of the way and into the inner corner of my eye. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red. For the red look I went for candy cane vibes without being super candy cane and I really like how it turned out. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Primer in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_0096

For the rest of my face, I used the Ofra Mini Mix Palette in Good To Go. I first bronzed with the Current Bronzer. I then applied the Intentions Blush and highlighted with a mix of the top and bottom shades from the All of the Lights Highlighter.

IMG_0107

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime using the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette and took the shade Camping and packed it onto the outer corner of my eye and the inner corner of my eye, bringing it into the crease in both cases, and left a space in the middle of my lid. To fill that middle space I went into the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette and used the shade Bitter Start. I then took Camping and brought it about 3/4 of the way under my eye and for the rest and in the inner corner I applied Bitter Start. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with a mix of the MAC Matte Lipstick in Red Rock and the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in 23 Cabin Fever/After Hours. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

The second to last look, the gold look, is one that if you red my Dito Cosmetics post or follow me on Instagram you would have seen because I did it quite a bit during college football season. The first thing I did was prime my face using the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer. Then I applied the Covergirl & Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_0096

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer. I then applied the Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

IMG_0102

IMG_0109

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them using the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Dito Cosmetics Venus Palette and took Phobos and put it in the crease, making sure to blend it. For the rest of my lid I applied the shade Jupiter. I then took Phobos and put it about 3/4 of the way under my eye and for other 1/4 and in the inner corner of my eye I applied Jupiter. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Famous Red. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

For the last look, the silver look, I wore this for a neighborhood Christmas party so I wanted to be more glam and I love this one. It’s so cute. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer. Then I applied the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach

IMG_0097

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer. Then I applied the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo Blush in Lychee and highlighted with a mix of the first two shades in the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient Palette.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. I took the shade Slate and put that in the crease, then I took Noir and packed that onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it into the crease just a little bit. For the rest of my lid I applied Cyborg. I then took Noir and put it about halfway under my eye, then I took Cyborg and put it the rest of the way. For the inner corner of my eye I wanted a little bit of brightness, so I applied the shade Pearl. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the MAC Matte lipstick in Russian Red. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

Blogmas Day One: Three Recent Looks, Violet Voss Violet Sunset Palette

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Day One of the Twelve Days of Blogmas! I’m super excited to be doing Blogmas again, it’s one of my favorite things to do during December and I’m glad you guys like it too. So we’re going to start off with one of my favorite types of post, a Three Recent Looks and we’re doing it with the Violet Voss Violet Sunset Palette. Though this isn’t a super Christmassy palette, I figured it a good thing to start with because the sunsets you get during winter and the Christmas season can be pretty spectacular and this palette embodies that.

A little info, this is a 10 pan palette with a mix of mattes, shimmers and metallics. It’s a very versatile palette with a great formulation and excellent color payoff. I’m having a lot of fun playing around with it.

For the first look, I went with something very simple. When I first got it and I was looking for some info I went to the Violet Voss website and saw some of the sample looks they had done and wanted to recreate one. Overall I’m happy with how it turned out. The first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow Glowstarter in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper.

IMG_9881

For the rest of my face the first thing I did was bronze using the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, this really has come one of my go to products since receiving it. Then I applied the Too Faced Makeup & Be Merry Blush and Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

IMG_9883

IMG_9890

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette and took Lilac and applied it all over my lid and that was it. I rarely do just one shadow on my eyes these days, but I wanted to really test it out. I then took a little bit of Lilac and put it under my eye as well 3/4 of the way and for the rest and the inner corner of my eye I applied Vanilla. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips I applied the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in 36 Spring Break and I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

IMG_9884

IMG_9891

IMG_9721

For the second look I wanted to play with the neutrals in the palette and I think this might be my favorite look that I’ve done with it. I’ve recreated it a couple times since and you might be able to tell that between the first picture and the second I got a new phone so the photo quality is better. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 250, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder

IMG_9882

For the rest of my face the first thing I did was bronze using the Nars Laguna Bronzer, then I applied blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and I highlighted with a combination of the first two shades from the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient Palette

IMG_9885

IMG_9892

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette and took Desert Sand, putting it in the crease. Then I took Amber Sky and did a light layer of that in the crease as well, making sure to blend it well. I then took Dusk and packed that on the outer corner of my eye and took it into the crease just a bit. For the rest of my lid I applied Champagne and mixed it with a little bit of Peach. I took Dusk and put that under my eye about halfway and for the other half and in the inner corner of my eye, I applied a mix of Champagne and Peach. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

IMG_9886

IMG_9893

IMG_9795

For the third look I wanted to do something really fun and sparkly so that’s what I did and I think it’s a fun look. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth and Blur Primer. I got a sample of this in a Sephora order recently and forgot how much I like it. I’m definitely going to have to repurchase. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set it with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper.

IMG_9887

For the rest of my face I bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, then I applied the blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted with a combination of the first and third shades from the Touch In Sol Glowdient Palette.

IMG_9888

IMG_9894

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the palette and took Sunset and put that in the crease. I then took Blush and put that in the crease as well, making sure to blend them. For the rest of my lid I applied Violet Sunset. I took a mix of Sunset and Blush and put that about 3/4 of the way under my eye and for the rest and in the inner corner of my eye, applied Violet Sunset. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips I applied the Wander Beauty Double Date Lip & Cheek in Rendezvous and I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

Excuse the fact that there’s no picture. It was formatting really weird for some reason but there is one on my Instagram.

That about wraps it up for this post, I always really like doing this type of post so look out for more in the future.

Until next time, you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes and welcome to Blogmas :).

Three Recent Looks, Dito Cosmetics Venus Palette

Hi everyone,

Today I have one of my favorite posts for you, a Three Recent Looks. This time with the Dito Cosmetics Venus Palette. I got this palette in my BoxyCharm box last month and instantly liked it when I saw it. I’m a huge space nerd and this appeals to that side of me.

IMG_9035

You get a good size mirror with this palette, which is always a plus and it’s actually a really good mirror for a palette.

IMG_9036

This is a 12 pan palette with 5 different finishes, there’s matte, shimmery, creamy, ultra shiny glitter and shimmer with sparkle. Because this palette was inspired by Venus there is a bit of diversity with the color range, so you do get the option to create some fun and different looks.

IMG_9037

So for the first look I wanted to do something with the golds in the palette and I’m really happy with how it came out. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder

IMG_9215

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed using the Nars bronzer in Laguna. I used the blush from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted using the Touch In Sol Glowdient Palette and mixing together the first two shades.

IMG_9216

IMG_9222

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I moved into the Venus Palette and first applied Phobos in the crease. Because I wanted a darker brown on the outer corner I went into the ColourPop Limoncello Palette, took the shade Vespa and packed that onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it up into the crease just a little. For the rest of my lid I applied Jupiter and for a little extra glitter, dabbed a little bit of Deimos. I then brought Vespa under my eye about three quarters of the way and for the rest and into the inner corner of my eye I applied Jupiter. I lined my eyes using the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I wanted a lighter brown for my lips, so I first lined them with the Vintage Cosmetics by Jessica Liebeskind Cashmere Lip Pencil in Mocha and filled them in with the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Bombshell. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

IMG_9217

IMG_9223

IMG_9139

IMG_9141

For my second look I really wanted to play with the fun colors and do something the pinky shades and purples. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_9215

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was bronze using the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. I then applied the Too Faced Daydreamer blush and highlighted with the Touch In Sol Glowdient Palette, using a mix of the first and third shades.

IMG_9218

IMG_9224

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Elizabeth Mott Cosmetics Eyeshadow Primer. Because I wanted a berry shade in the crease, I went into the Huda Beauty Ruby Obsessions Palette and first used the darker shade (first shadow in the middle row) and to lighten it up just a bit, blended that with the lighter berry shade (last shadow in the third row). Then I went into the Venus Palette and because I wanted a purple shade, took Europa and packed it onto the outer corner of my eye, blending it up into the crease just a little bit. For the rest of my lid I applied Kallisto and topped it with Venus, which is such a gorgeous topper. I brought Europa under my eye about halfway and the rest of the way and into the inner corner of my eye I applied Kallisto mixed with Venus. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. I wanted a lighter lip with this look, so I first lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Nude Lip Liner and filled them in with the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca. And I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

IMG_9219

IMG_9225

IMG_9154

I did the third look when it was a colder, more fall like day, so I went for the orangey/brown fall vibes. The first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

IMG_9215

For the rest of my face I used the Ofra Mini Mix Face Palette in Good To Go. The bronzer is in the shade Current, the blush in the shade Intentions and the highlighter, which I used the top, bottom and shade on the left side, is in the shade All Of The Lights. It’s such a great and versatile palette.

IMG_9220

IMG_9226

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Primer. I then went into the Venus Palette and first used Mercury in the crease, it’s a nude shade, but I wanted to bring a little brightness. I then took Phobos and packed it onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it into the crease just a little. It was looking a little light at that point, so I mixed in just a bit of Vespa from the ColourPop Limoncello Palette. For the rest of my eye I applied Mars topped with a dab of Moon. Looking at it you might wonder why I used Moon because it is a pinker shade, but it has some gold flecks in it that really come through if you have a light hand and it added a lot to the look. I then brought the Phobos/Vespa mix under my eye about half way and for the other half and into the inner corner of my eye applied the Mars/Moon combo. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Liner in Black and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. I wanted a lighter nudey/brown lip so I first lined my lips with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Nude Lip Liner and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

IMG_9221

IMG_9227

IMG_9169

That about wraps it up for this post, I really do like this palette, I think it’s a lot of fun and the shades are pigmented, blend well and you get a nice color payoff. I know that Dito Cosmetics has themed palettes similar to this one, so I’m definitely going to look at those. Like I said, I really like doing these posts so look out for more in the future.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).

Three Recent Looks, Malibu Barbie x ColourPop Palette

Hi everyone,

Today I have one of my favorite types of posts, a Three Recent Looks, this time with the Malibu Barbie x ColourPop palette. This is one of those palettes that gives me all the nostalgia because I loved Barbie as a kid and as an adult it’s nice to see a quality brand making a Barbie collection and giving us the makeup we always wanted as kids.

The first look I did was one I knew I had to do as soon as I saw the shadows, bright pink and sparkly. So the first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set it with my Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face I first bronzed using the Nars Laguna Bronzer, then I applied my Too Faced Makeup & Be Merry Blush and Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Rose Gold

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette and first took Board Walk and put that in the crease. Then I took Best Coast and packed that on the outer corner of my eye and into the crease a little bit. For the rest of my lid I applied Follow The Sun. I then took Best Coast and brought it under my eye about halfway, then took Follow The Sun and put that about 90% of the way. For the inner corner of my eye I used Vintage Doll. I lined my eyes using the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. For my lips I wanted a pink lip so I took the Sephora Collection Lip Liner To Go in 09, Fuchsia and lightly used it all over then topped it with the Sephora Collection #LIPSTORIES Lipstick in 69, Werk It. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

For the second look I wanted to do something more beachy for Malibu Barbie, so I did turquoise and sparkles. The first thing I did was prime my face using the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set it with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper

For the rest of my face I first bronzed with the Nars Laguna Bronzer, then I applied the Blush and Highlighter from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette, taking Malibu Memories and putting it lightly in the crease, then packing it on the outer corner of my eye. I then took Surf’s Up and put it all over the rest of my lid. I then took Malibu Memories and brought it under my eye about halfway, putting Surf’s Up on the other half and into the inner corner. For a little extra color I took the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Big Splash and put it in my waterline. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips I first lined them using the Model Co Lip Enhancer Nude Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in using the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Crush. I set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

For the third look I did something that if you guys have been reading these Three Recent Looks posts, you know I like, and that is a champagne and peach look. I do generally like this color combo and if these shades happen to appear in a palette, then I like to test them out and see how they look together. For my face the first thing I did was prime using the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face I first bronzed with the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer, then I applied the Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and the highlighter from the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee.

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette and first took Make Waves and put that in the crease. Then I took Let’s Go Party and packed that on the outer corner of my eye. For the rest of my lid I applied Cali Girl. I then took Let’s Go Party and brought that under my eye about halfway and used Cali Girl for the other half and into the inner corner. For a little extra color I took the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Peach Fuzz in the waterline. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I first line them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Nude Lip Liner Pencil and filled that in with the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Crush. That about wraps it up for this post, I always really like doing these posts so look out for more in the future. I really like this palette, I think it a lot of fun and versatile. I would definitely recommend it if you’re a Barbie fan or are looking for a fun summer palette.

Three Recent Looks, ColourPop Lizzie McGuire What Dreams Are Made Of Palette

Hi everyone,

Today I have one of my favorite types of posts, a three recent looks, this time with the ColourPop Lizzie McGuire What Dreams Are Made Of Palette. I really like this palette, I think it’s a lot of fun and it has a lot of range and versatility.

For the first look I went with one of my favorite color combos of a peachy/orange and a shimmery champagne. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer. This isn’t included in the picture because I had a sample of it from a recent Too Faced order. I know there is a lot of criticism with this primer because they changed the formula, and as someone who tried the old formula and liked it, I think this new formula is decent and I didn’t have any issues with it. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face I first bronzed using the Nars Laguna Bronzer, then I applied the Too Faced Makeup & Be Merry Blush and Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Primer. Then I took the shade Done & Done and applied it lightly in the crease. I then took Soo Mature and packed it on the outer corner of my eye, bringing it less than halfway onto my lid and bringing it a little bit into the crease. For the rest of my lid I applied Buh-Bye. I took Soo Mature and put it under my eye, bringing it in the same about and did the same with Buh-Bye and I brought that into the inner corner of my eye. I then used the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Peach Fuzz in my water liner for a little extra color, used the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper to line my eyes and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I first lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Nude Lip Liner Pencil and on top of that used the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Crush. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

For the second look I wanted to play around with the purples in the palette because that’s not something I do very often. The first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow GlowStarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face the first thing I did was bronze using the Nars Laguna Bronzer. Then I applied the Too Faced Makeup & Be Merry Blush and Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Rose Gold

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime them using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette and put the shade Uggghhh! in the crease. I then took Digital Bean and packed it onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it into the crease just a little. I then divided the rest of my lid in half, putting Hello Fabulous on one side and Outfit Rememberer on the other. I took Digital Bean and put it under my eye, then did the same with Hello Fabulous and Outfit Rememberer, bringing Outfit Rememberer into the inner corner of my eye. I put the ColourPop Creme Gel Liner in Amethyst Hour in my water line for a little extra color, lined my eyes using the Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Blacquer 42 and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara. For my lips I used the Wander Beauty Double Date Lip and Cheek in Rendezvous and set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

For the third look I wanted to do something fun and I’ve seen a few people on Instagram do versions of this look, so I got some inspiration from that. The first thing I did was prime my face using the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Foundation in 250, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face I first bronzed using the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer. The I applied the Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and Maybelline Master Chrome Highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I used the shade Uggghhh! on half of my crease and Don’t Freak on the other half. I then packed Outfit Repeater onto the outer corner of my eye, bringing it in less than halfway and into the crease the same amount. For the rest of the lid I used Dear Diary. I then brought Outfit Repeater under my eye and did the same with Dear Diary, making sure to bring Dear Diary into the inner corner. I lined my eyes using the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I applied the Wander Beauty Double Date Lip and Cheek in Rendezvous and set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, I always like doing this type of post so look out for more in the future. Overall I really like this palette and definitely recommend it.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).
