Three Recent Looks, Ace Beaute Falling For You Palette

Hi everyone,

Today I’m back with one of my favorite types of posts, a Three Recent Looks. This time with the Ace Beaute Falling For You Palette. I received this palette in my October BoxyCharm box and I really like it. It’s versatile, the shadows are all very pigmented, smooth, blendable and I think that this is a great fall palette. I’m having a lot of fun playing around with it.

For the first look I wanted to do something with the pink and purple shadows and I’m so pleased with how it came out. I’ve recreated this look since and I think it’s a fun one. So the first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was bronze using the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer. Then I applied the Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Elizabeth Mott Cosmetics Thank Me Later Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette. The first shadow I used was Squash and I blended that in the crease. Then I took Cranberry and blended that lightly in the crease as well. I then took Chestnut and packed it on the outer corner of my eye and a little bit into the crease. For the rest of my eye I applied Apple. I then took Chestnut and put it under my eye, about halfway. For the other half and the inner corner of my eye, I applied Apple. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Jet Black and topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. For my lips I lined them using the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca. I set everything with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

For the second look I wanted to use the brown and gold shadows and I think this is one of my favorite looks of this type that I’ve done in a while. The first thing I did was prime my face using the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed using the Nars Laguna Bronzer. Then I applied my e.l.f. Blush from the Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and highlighted using the a mix of the first two shades in the Touch In Sol Pretty Filter Glowdient Palette

For my eyes, I first primed them using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette, I first took Autumn and blended that into the crease. Then I took Pine Cone and packed that on the outer corner of my eye and into the crease just a little. For the rest of my eye I applied Cider. I then took Pine Cone and put that about two thirds of the way under my eye, for the rest of and in the inner corner I applied Cider. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips I first lined them with the Saint Luxe Beauty Secret Admirer Liner, filled them in with the Beauty Vaulte Beau Babe Liner and topped that with the Nars Afterglow Lip Balm in Laguna. I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

For the third look I wanted to do something that was bright. I should have included pictures of another look I did after this because I did bright with it in another way, but if I recreate it, I’ll post pictures on my social media. The first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Glow Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I then applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 250, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper

For the rest of my face I used the Ofra Mini Mix Face Palette in Good To Go. I used the Bronzer in Current. The Blush in Intention and I used a mix of the lightest and the pink from the All of the Lights Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the palette. I first took Squash and blended that into the crease, then I took Pumpkin Pie and lightly blended that into the crease as well. Then I took Cherry Pie and put that on my entire eyelid. I then took Pumpkin Pie and put that two thirds of the way under my eye and for the rest and in the inner corner, I applied Cherry Pie. I lined my eyes with the KVD Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the KVD Go Big or Go Home Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Muneca. February Favorites

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! As it’s the end of the month, I thought that it would be the perfect time do my February favorites. I have a good and fun mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty, I have a few favorites from my February BoxyCharm box, and if you haven’t read that I’ll link it down below. My first Boxy favorite is the Ace Beaute Nostalgia palette. This is a 15 pan palette, you get a mix of mattes and metallics and the color range is great. I’m having a lot of fun with this palette, all of the shadows are nicely pigmented, you get a great color payoff and they blend really nicely. I definitely recommend this if you want a fun palette.

My next Boxy favorite is the Wander Beauty Double Date Lip and Cheek. This is a double layer balm that can be used on the lips and the cheeks. The first layer is a nice light pink that builds really nicely and blends well and that is in the shade Rendezvous. The second layer is a shimmer free balm that gives a nice glow and hydration and that is in the shade Swipe. You also get a little mirror on the second layer, making this perfect to throw in your bag. I personally like this more for the lips than the cheeks, but from when I tested it on the cheeks it did look and feel nice.

My second to last beauty favorite and last Boxy favorite is the Saint Luxe Beauty Limited Edition Liner Duo. This is a set of two brown toned lip liners, the first Love Letter, is what I would call a lighter cinnamon brown and the second, Secret Admirer, is a darker more chocolate brown. These are really smooth and creamy when you apply them and they’re long wearing. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for brown liners.

And my last beauty favorite is my Valentine’s Day makeup look. I did a post all about this look, how I did it and the looks I did leading up to Valentine’s Day, which I’ll link below. I like this look a lot, it’s bright and fun and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

IMG_7389

Moving on I have a fashion favorite, and it’s my Valentine’s Day outfit. I usually like to wear something in some shade of pink, this year it was really cold and snowy, so I thought this was the perfect time to wear the cropped sweater I got for Christmas. I think it’s adorable and it paired well with the makeup look I did.

IMG_7369

My next favorite is weather favorite and it’s the snow we got. I always want snow during the winter months and we don’t always get it, but we did for a couple days and it was really fun.

IMG_7357

Moving on I have a food favorite and it’s this Honey Mustard Snack Mix from Costco. This has five different things in it, honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces, seasoned almond poppers, honey roasted sesame sticks, honey roasted almond splits and savory chickpeas. These are so, so good, the pretzel pieces are my favorite. I definitely recommend these if you’re looking for a good snack.

IMG_7455

And my last favorite is a music favorite. This month I had a little playlist of love songs and such for Valentine’s Day and I really liked it. It had Take That, Eric Clapton, The Doobie Brothers, Little Mix and more. I think themed playlists are so fun, and if it’s not something you do already, I would recommend it.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your February favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great February :).

February BoxyCharm Unboxing

Hi everyone,

The other day I received my February BoxyCharm box, and I thought that today would be the perfect day to go through it. The theme this month is Boxy XOXO, and it’s absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day.

IMG_7306

The first product we have is the Saturday Skin Yuzu Vitamin C Sleep Mask. This has cold pressed Yuzu Seed Oil and an encapsulated vitamin complex that hydrates while helping to target stress, pores, aging, dullness and texture. You put this on after you moisturize, leave on overnight and it works while you sleep. I really like things like this, so I’m interested to try this out.

IMG_7316

The next product we have is the Glamierre Pink Luxe Glitter Eye Brush Collection. This collection comes in a hot pink sparkly case that smells exactly like pool floaties.

IMG_7320

You get four brushes, an eyeshadow brush, a blending brush, an angled brush and a smudge brush. They are a pink and white ombre, and they’re pretty soft.

IMG_7321

These brushes are really fun because they have the heart shaped glitter in the handle that moves when you move the brush.

IMG_7322

Moving on we have the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette. This says ‘Ace Beaute Nostalgia’ written in the middle in gold. Around that is a pattern of orange flowers and green leaves, and it has a gold flowered boarder around it.

IMG_7323

You get a good size mirror with this palette and the mirror has the same gold flowered boarder around it.

IMG_7324

This is a 15 pan palette and you get a really great color range and a mix of mattes and metallics.

IMG_7325

I swatched these shadows in the rows they’re in in the palette. The first shadow we have is Beach, and this is a matte sandy color. Next to that is Popsicle, a matte light orange that has some yellow undertones. The there’s Stargazing, a light metallic orange that is quite pretty. Next to that is Theme Park, a matte emerald green and the last shadow in the row is Water Slide, a matte yellow.

IMG_7334

The second row starts with Heat, a metallic pinky/red that is so, so pretty. I like it a lot. Next to that is Raspberry, a matte purpley berry shade. Then there’s Picnic, which is a bright matte pink. Next to that is Camping, a lighter matte red and the last shadow in the row is Fun, a metallic yellow/gold.

IMG_7335

The last row starts with Flower, a matte light rosy pink. Then there’s Vacation, a matte bright orange. Next to that is Flip Flops, which is a bright matte magenta. Then there’s Carnival, a matte deep violet purple and the last shadow in the row is Hiking, a matte brown that has some red undertones. Based off of the swatches, it seems like these shadows are all very pigmented and are going to blend nicely.

IMG_7336

The second to last product we have is the Wander Beauty Double Date Lip and Cheek

IMG_7327

IMG_7326

This is a double layer balm that can be used on your lips or your cheeks. The first layer is a light pink tint in the shade Rendezvous, that builds nicely, and blends well.

IMG_7328

The second layer, in the shade Swipe, is a shimmer free balm that will give you glow and hydration no matter where you use it. And on the second layer you get a little mirror.

IMG_7329

IMG_7332

And the last product we have is the Saint Luxe Beauty Limited Edition Liner Duo.

IMG_7330

This is a set of brown lip liner, the first, Love Letter, is the lighter of the two and it’s a light cinnamon brown. The second, Secret Admirer, is a darker more chocolate brown.

IMG_7331

These went on smooth and seem to pretty creamy and they didn’t smudge, so I’m sure they’ll be long wearing.

IMG_7333

That about wraps it up for this post, if you got any of the same products in your February BoxyCharm box let me know, and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get in my March box :).
