I want your input

Hi everyone,

This isn’t the typical blog post, but rather something I want your opinion on. I’ve been wanting to do a Q&A for a while now, and I want to know how you guys want me to do it. What I’m thinking is I can do the traditional blog post where you send me your questions and I write out my answers, or I could do a livestream on YouTube. Let me know what you guys think and remember to send in questions. The questions can be about anything you want, so don’t think it has to be solely about makeup and beauty. Anyway, let me know what you guys think :).

Staying inside the lines

Hi everyone,

Ever since I was a kid, one of my favorite things has been to color. I’m a pretty creative person so coloring is a good outlet for that creativity. And one of my favorite things to come from the last year or so is adult coloring books. I love that they come in all different patterns. You could truly never become bored with it. Right now I have three different coloring books and I’m really liking them and I would recommend all of them. The first one is Snowflake designs from Creative Haven. To go with it, I bought Crayola colored pencils which in my opinion are the best quality reasonably priced/ everyday colored pencils.

CB2

I’ve had this book since early December and have colored most of the pages, but this one is by far my favorite. I didn’t know there were so many ways you could design a snowflake, but like real ones each page is interesting and different.

Moving on to more complicated books, the next two are in the more typical style of adult coloring books.

CB4

The one on the left is Tropical World by Millie Marotta

CB5

This one is full of different tropical animals, plants/trees and has spaces for you to create your own tropical designs or add patterns to existing animals.

The one on the right is Flower Fantasy by Sara Muzio and is in poster pad style

CB6

The design in this book consists of different flowers and plants, but every page has a different animal or insect. This one is ladybugs, but there’s frogs, butterflies, praying mantises and so on.

The colored pencils are from Studio Series and are great if you want to spend slightly more money  but not break the bank.

CB3

I really like all of the colors, the quality of the pencils themselves and the fact that you get a sharpener and an eraser. Colored pencil can be hard to erase but that one works great.

As I said before, I would gladly recommend these to anyone and I definitely do. There are so many out there and I can’t wait to try them all.

Until next time, don’t be afraid to use color and let your creativity flow :).
