Hi everyone,
Welcome to Blogmas Day 15! Today I’m going to be showing you guys my 2017 Christmas tree and some of my favorite ornaments. I don’t have a theme to my tree, then again I never do, it’s just ornaments that I’ve bought/ be given over the years that I really like.
So this year my tree is a spruce and it actually took me forever to find it, I went to a couple different places before I found one that I liked. And if I can remember where some of the ornaments came from I’ll mention it.

So, on to my favorite ornaments, the first was a gift from my brother and it’s from Bronner’s, the best Christmas store ever. I have always believed in Bigfoot, I know there are a ton of people that don’t but personally I’ve seen enough evidence and had enough of my own experiences to make me a believer. And my brother, knowing that bought me this and it proudly sits near the top of my tree.

This next ornament I’ve had since I was a small child. It came from my aunt who was one of my absolute favorite people and she’s not around anymore so when I see this it reminds me of her, all the good times we had and it makes me smile.

These next two were made for me by a close family friend, each of my siblings and my parents have these with their names and we all put them on our trees each year.

The next couple I have no idea where they came from because they’re kind of old but I love them. Racing and airplanes are two of my favorite things in the world so it’s only fitting that I have Open Wheel Racing Santa and Pilot Santa.

The next four came from Hallmark and are movie/ TV related. The first is the USS Enterprise. I love Star Trek. It was a huge part of my childhood, I would watch it all the time with my dad. It was one of those things we did together and I’ve watched every series and all of the movies. I have one and my dad has one and it does light up but the batteries need to be replaced.

The next three are from A Christmas Story, one of the best Christmas movies. And it’s Ralphie in various situations from the movie. If there is one thing I would change about them, it would be with the two that talk. It’s not the original audio from the movie, and I understand why, but it’s just not the same when you hear it.

This one is when he’s imagining that he has his gun and is protecting his family from Black Bart.

This is the iconic “Oh Fudge” moment, this is one that talks and makes noise.

And this last one is the pink nightmare/bunny suit moment. And this one also talks and makes noise.
If you read my Indoor Decorations post, then you would have seen the Coca Cola Santa plaque, there’s actually four throughout the house, and this next ornament won’t surprise you. I have a couple of these, with different scenes on my tree and I love them.

The last couple are what I would call classic Christmas ornaments.

These three, along with others not pictured, came from a big box of ornaments that I bought at Costco.

These two came in their own sets, but I bought them at the same time and I think it was Fred Meyer but I might be wrong. I’ve had them for a while.

And finally I do have some classic colored ornaments.
That about wraps it up for this post, I have a lot more ornaments on my tree but if I showed every single one we would be here for absolute ages.
Until next time, enjoy your trees and do you guys have white or multicolored lights on your tree? 🙂
