Erin Condren 2020 LifePlanner Review

Hi everyone,

Happy 2020! As much as I enjoyed the break, I’m happy to be back and today I’m going to be going through the 2020 Erin Condren LifePlanner. I started using the LifePlanner last year and it absolutely changed the game for me, so getting one for this year was a no brainer. So the one that I got is the Starry Sky in Ivory and Gray with a vertical layout and colorful theme inside. I also personalized it with my first and middle name on the front.

WIGC6

WIGC7

Along with the little ruler that’s attached to the front of the planner you also get a hexagon box label, gift labels, compliment cards, friends and family discount cards and a kaleidoscope storage box. I’m currently using the box and I’ve given out the friends and family discount cards. You also get a perpetual calendar.

ECPL2

ECPL18

ECPL17

On to the planner itself, when you first open it you’re met with a quote across two pages on a kaleidoscope background that says ‘Success means having the courage to become the person you believe you were meant to be’.

ECPL3

The next page is an overview of the last six months of 2019 and all of 2020.

ECPL4

After that you have 12 boxes, 6 per page, on one side of the page it says ‘New beginning, new mindset, new focus’ and on the other ‘New start, new intentions, new results’. I like to assign each box to a month.

ECPL5

At the start of each month there is a new quote and the one for January says ‘Passion and purpose give you progress’.

ECPL6

On the back of the quote page there is a section to use however and on the page next to it there is a layout that says the month on top, there is a box for monthly goals, birthdays, another for whatever you choose and at the bottom there’s a dot grid section.

ECPL7

Once you turn that page you get the month all laid out with a notes section of the far right.

ECPL8

Then you get the month broken down by week with each day getting three sections and a small notes section at the bottom.

ECPL9

At the back of the planner, right after December, you get a notes section of four lined pages.

ECPL10

Next to that is four dot grid pages.

ECPL11

You then get two coloring pages with unique patterns.

ECPL12

After the coloring pages is a page of 12 multicolored hexagons and next to that is a contacts page.

ECPL13

The last pages are an overview of 2021 with spaces for notes/goals at the bottom.

ECPL14

Then you have 5 pages of various stickers.

ECPL15

And lastly you have kaleidoscope folder pockets and I appreciate that each side of the pocket is the same depth.

ECPL16

That about wraps it up for this post, you guys know that planners are my favorite but I’d love to know if you guys are planner people or if you prefer another method.

Until next time, happy planning and here’s to a great 2020 :).

Blogmas Day Eight: Fab Fit Fun Starter Box Unboxing and Review

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Eight! Today I’m going to be doing something that I really enjoy and that’s an unboxing and review. This time it’s the Fab Fit Fun Starter Box. I’ve been interested by the Fab Fit Fun boxes for a while and during Black Friday the starter boxes were $5.00, so I picked one up.

FFF1

When I opened this box the first two things I saw were a magazine that tells you all about the boxes and Fab Fit Fun as a whole. And a card that gives you a breakdown of what’s in the box.

FFF2

There are four products in this box, and the first one we have is the Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Day Cream Camellia, Geranium Blossom. This is a facial moisturizer that is supposed to hydrate and help your skin to look soothed, smoothed and give you a good base for applying your makeup without giving you any shine or making you look oily. This has Camellia and Rosehip Oil, Aloe, Jojoba Oil, Cane Sugar and Geranium Blossom. Grown Alchemist is an Australian brand that I hadn’t heard of before, but I’m interested to see how this cream works out. I’ll let you guys know what I think.

FFF3

FFF4

Next we have the Spongelle Body Wash Infused Buffer in Black Orchid. This is a flower shaped buffer. What you do is run this under water and it changes from this hard more exfoliating texture to a really soft body washer. This scent is on the stronger side, you can smell it immediately after opening the box, but it’s not overpowering. I’ve heard good things about these, so I’m excited to try it.

FFF5

FFF6

The second to last product we have is the Moroccan Gold Series Leave-in Mask. You spray this in damp hair and comb through and it’s supposed to bring life back into your hair by reversing damage, dullness and dryness. Nourish and condition in addition to locking in moisture and helping to detangle. I quite like hair masks like this and this one smells really good.

FFF7

FFF8

And the last product we have is the Yumi Kim Hanging Train Case. This case is light pink with a floral pattern, a gold Yumi Kim badge on the top, gold zippers and two handles on top. When you open it you see two large pockets, both with gold zippers and a black fold out pocket that has a hanger on top so you can hang this case anywhere.

FFF9

FFF10

FFF12

FFF11

That about wraps it up for this post, I honestly am impressed by the entire box. If you guys have used any of these products or use them now, I’d love to know your thoughts.

Until next time, enjoy your products and you can never subscribe to too many subscription boxes :).

Blogmas Day Five: Holiday Hairstyles

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Five! Today I thought it would be fun to do something I haven’t done before, and that’s holiday hairstyles. It’s party season and now that I have short hair I feel like I have more options for styling and I’m more excited to style it. With that being said, let’s get into it.

The first style we have is simply straight. I know this one isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but because I have multiple colors in my hair, depending on the way I style it, a different color will show through. So some days it’s the blonde and other days it’s the red.

HH1

Next we have curly. Now this is admittedly not the best photo, but there is a story behind it. I hardly ever curl my hair, I love the way it looks when it’s done but because my hair is so thick it takes forever. But a few weeks ago it was my mom’s birthday and she always like to take a family photo on her birthday so I dressed up. It was super windy and cold that my curls fell pretty much all the way out. But I also used the bigger of my two curling irons and it didn’t give me the exact look I wanted. I think next time I do curls it will definitely be with the smaller one.

HH2

Moving on, we have what has become one of my new favorite ways to do my hair. And that’s a little bun. I would do a bun all the time when my hair was long, most out of convenience, but a bun is always a good style. So I’ve been doing little ones now and I will do them in various sizes. But this takes practically no time and goes with pretty much every look.

HH3

Next is a super simple one. What you do is take two big sections of hair, one from each side, pull it behind your head and clip together. When I do this normally I use a claw clip, but for the holidays I have a couple of festive clips that I could use.

HH4

This next one is basically the same as the previous, but with braids. What I do is take two medium sized chunks of hair, one from each side, braid, and put together. For this photo I used red rubber bands, but if I did for a party I would use the clear ones.

HH5

HH8

And the last style we have can be done a couple of ways. The way I did it today is by parting my hair down the middle and braiding it. I did try to push up the front a little bit, but it didn’t look exactly how I wanted so I elected not to show a front view. I also like this look with a French braid.

HH9

That about wraps it up for this post, if you were stuck for a party hairstyle I hope this helped.

Until next time, have fun styling and enjoy your holiday parties :).

Target Beauty Box Men’s Edition Review

Hi everyone,

Happy Friday! Today I have a different type of post for you. The other day I ordered the Target Beauty Box because I had yet to try it and I wanted to compare it to the Walmart Beauty Box and when it arrived I was really surprised to see that not only had they sent me the wrong box, but they sent the men’s version of the box. I did get it sorted and the actual box that I ordered was delivered today and that post will be going up soon. But I was sitting here with this box having no clue what to do with it, so I figured because I’ve never talked about something like this before I may as well. I also made a group chat with my dad and brothers asking them if they wanted any of the products and what they didn’t want I’m going to donate. The box itself is a dark green and the lid has various shades of green and it looks like mountains/trees and there’s green tissue paper on the inside. Now I don’t know if Target does a box every month for men, but this one is from June.

TBM1

TBM2

So the first product we have is the Head & Shoulders Old Spice Pure Sport Men’s Anti-Dandruff 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. Head & Shoulders is super popular and I know it works great for a lot of people but I didn’t know until I saw this that it came in an Old Spice scent. Old Spice is one of those scents that generally people really like or really dislike. But if that’s a smell you like then I definitely recommend this.

TBM3

Next up we have some skincare, the Bulldog Moisturizer, Face Wash and Shave Gel. I’ve actually heard of this brand before, it’s a UK company, they use natural ingredients and at least these three, have aloe, camelina and green tea. Which are all really hydrating and moisturizing.

TBM4

Moving on we have the Crest Gum Detoxifying Deep Clean Toothpaste. I use Crest, the 3D White toothpaste, and I think they’re great brand. This toothpaste in particular is supposed to get to those hard to reach areas and remove plaque bacteria so you’re left with healthier gums.

TBM5

The next product we have is the Old Spice Fresher Collection Deep Sea Invisible Solid Deodorant. I know that Old Spice is branching out now with different collections that have different scents. While this does still smell very much like the original scent, there is elements of freshness and it’s not bad at all.

TBM6

The second to last product we have is the Dove Men + Care Clean Comfort Dry Spray Antiperspirant. Dry sprays are definitely becoming popular or more popular now and this one says it goes on instantly dry and works for up to 48 hours. This formula is also non-irritant and it smells really nice.

TBM7

And the last product we have is the Gillette SkinGuard Men’s Razor. This razor is supposed to minimize tug and it cuts the hair at skin level so there’s no ingrown hairs or irritation. And this one says on the box that it’s safe for sensitive skin.

TBM8

TBM9

That about wraps it up for this post, I think that if you’re a guy who’s wanting to try out some new stuff/ you want some stuff to travel with or you’re someone who’s looking for a gift to give to a guy in your life, then this is great. There’s six items in here, it’s $7.00, and you get free shipping and free returns. I’ll leave a link down below.

Until next time, you can never try too many beauty boxes and I hope you all have a great weekend :).

May Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the end of the month I thought it would be the perfect time to do my May favorites. I think I have a pretty good mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty I have a few favorites from my May Sephora Play Box and I’ll link that below if you haven’t read it. My first Play favorite is the Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara. This is a mascara that I already had and already used but seeing it in this box has reminded me to wear it more because I genuinely love it. It doesn’t clump or feel heavy on the lashes and it gives me a ton of volume and length. It’s a fantastic mascara.

MYSP7

My next favorite is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deepp Dive Cleansing Gel. If you guys have read any of my skincare routine posts, with the exception of the last one, then you’ll know this is a product I’ve been using for a while. And I put it in here because it’s so good. It has marine plant extracts along with vitamin C and it leaves your skin feeling really hydrated and super soft. And the fact that it removes whatever long lasting/waterproof makeup I’m wearing and doesn’t leave anything behind is a major plus.

MYSP3

My second to last beauty favorite and last Play favorite is the Viktor&Rolf Magic Salty Flower perfume. This is a scent that I would say is perfect for spring and summer but you could definitely wear it in the fall if you do perfumes for certain seasons. It’s really fresh and has floral hints but it’s also spicy and warm. It’s very well balanced and I really like the way it wears. It’s a great perfume.

MYSP8

And my last beauty favorite is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer. I’m usually using one or two different concealers at a time and I was in the market for a new drugstore concealer. I liked the one I had been using previously but I wanted to try something different so I went and looked and decided on this one. I have this in two shades, 5, Ivory and 10, Fair. I’ve been using 5 for brightening under my eyes and 10 for everywhere else and I’m really liking it. I like the formulation, it wears well throughout the day and it blends so nicely. If you’re looking for a new concealer I would definitely recommend giving this one a try.

CON1

Moving on, I have a random favorite and it’s Icy Hot. I’m currently dealing with some shoulder pain and have been trying to use ice but during the day when I’m working and doing stuff it’s just not convenient to have to use an ice pack so my doctor told me to use Icy Hot, which I’ve used for various things in the past, if there’s a time when it really hurts. So I’ve been doing that off and on and for the most part it does help and I think it smells good so that’s a win.

My second to last favorite is the Indy 500 aka The Greatest Spectacle in Racing. This year was the 103rd running of the Indy 500 and it did not disappoint. I’ve been watching the race every year since I can remember and it’s an absolute favorite of mine. The flyover for this year was a heritage flight featuring the A-10, the F-16, the P-51 and the P-40 and it was so well done. And the race was incredibly exciting. Simon Pagenaud led most of the race after qualifying on the pole, then had an incredible battle with Alexander Rossi during the last ten laps before pulling out the win. It was amazing to watch and I was on the edge of my seat. So huge congrats to Simon Pagenaud and his entire team.

And my last favorite is a music favorite, it’s Live From Daryl’s House. Basically Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates has various musicians come over to his house and they hang out and play music. I think this was actually on TV but I’ve been watching it on YouTube at the recommendation of my dad who is a Hall and Oates fan. It’s really fun, there’s great music and if you haven’t checked it out I would recommend it.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great May :).

Easter Decor

Hi everyone,

As Easter is this weekend and I’ve pretty much finished decorating, I thought it would be fun to show you guys my decorations. I basically revamped my decorations this year and a lot of it is new and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. And with that being said, let’s get into it.

The first thing we have is a couple of signs. This first one has a wood background and it says Hippity Hoppity Easter’s On Its Way in various colors and glitters. And it’s hanging on a piece of rope.

ED1

Next we have a felt baby chick with a green boarder that has little eggs in it. And it’s hanging on a green ribbon.

ED2

I really like this third one, it has three parts. The top says Happy in pink and it has a green background with a purple boarder. The middle says Easter in white with a purple background, polka dots and a pink boarder. The bottom is a green egg with pink, purple and white polka dots. And it’s hanging on a dark pink ribbon.

ED3

Next up is a wooden sign that is shaped like a wreath. The green when you get a good look at it is grass and it’s covered in eggs covered in various patterns and it says Happy Easter in the middle in purple and it’s hanging on a light pink ribbon.

ED4

The second to last sign is one of my favorites and it’s another stacked sign. One the top there’s a little bunny with a small egg and it says Happy Easter. And underneath is four eggs in various colors and patterns.

ED5

And this last sign is on my screen door facing out, hence the slight glare. It has a big bunny in the middle with flowers around it, Happy Easter on top, a really pretty blue background and a pink and yellow boarder.

ED6

Next up I have some lights. Around Christmas I bought extra boxes of multicolored lights so I could have them for any time of the year I wanted. I put up a couple strings of those in my dining room and in my living room. Then I accented with these specialty lights. The first string are carrots and the second string are eggs.

ED7

ED8

On my little drink cart I have this big plastic egg filled with smaller little glitter eggs. And I did just buy some Easter basket filling to add so it has more color and dimension.

ED9

And lastly I have these two bunnies that I’m going to stick in my garden. I bought purple and blue and I think they add the perfect little Easter touch without being too over the top.

ED11

The things that I still have to do are hang up two banners, I don’t know where they’re going yet, put on a festive tablecloth and I bought two packs of those gel window clings. I’ll probably put those on some mirrors instead of the windows though.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we have any of the same decorations let me know which ones and if not I’d love to know what your favorite decoration of yours is.

Until next time, have fun decorating and have a happy Easter :).

Erin Condren Life Planner Review

Hi everyone,

Happy New Year! I hope that you guys are having a good year so far. I enjoyed the break but I’m happy to be back. And today I’m going to be talking about something I’m really excited about and that is my Erin Condren Life Planner. If you guys read my December Favorites, there was a little section where I talked about what I got for Christmas and within that there were three things that are getting their own post, and this is one of them. So, let’s get into it.

I consider myself a pretty organized person, but this bumps it up to the next level and for that I’m excited. The planner that I got is the Metallic Painted Petals Life Planner in Turquoise and Platinum. It’s in the vertical layout and it does have my name on the front.

ecp1

ecp2

ecp3

When you open it it says You Have Everything Inside You To Be And Do Anything You Want, which I think is a great message.

ecp10

Then there’s an overview of the last couple months of 2018 and all of 2019 and twelve boxes, which I have assigned to a month.

ecp4

ecp5

At the beginning of each month there is a different saying and the one for January is What You Seek Is Seeking You and each month is colored differently.

ecp6

Then you have a calendar layout of each month and this one you’ll notice is from different months because I wrote some stuff on the other side of January before I took pictures. And there is a place for notes and a preview of the next month on the side.

ecp7

ecp8

After the calendar style layout, you have the week laid out for you with three boxes each day and space to write notes at the bottom and the side.

ecp9

When you get to the back of the planner, after the months, you have four lined pages to write notes, four pages of dots and three coloring pages.

ecp11

ecp12

ecp13

The next thing you have a page for contacts and an overview of 2020 with space for notes/goals

ecp14

ecp15

I somehow forgot to take a picture of this, but there’s a page that says Arriving At One Goal Is The Start Of Another. Then four pages of stickers,

ecp18

The last section of the planner is folder pockets. One side is deep and the other is shorter and it says Shine Your Brightest. In the folder came a pink Perpetual calendar.

ecp19

ecp20

ecp21

ecp22

This planner came with a plastic pouch called the Plan For It Pouch. In the pouch was a 20% off card, which I did use because I bought some pens, compliment cards, gift labels and a clip. The clip is plastic and if you want you can stick to the pouch and clip it into your planner. Which I love, so convenient.

ecp16

ecp17

That about wraps it up for this post, I can’t wait to really start using this and I’d love to know, are you guys planner people or do you like some other method?

Until next time, happy planning and here’s to a great 2019 :).

December Favorites and 2018 Wrap Up

Hi everyone,

Today, as there’s only a couple of days left in the month, I’m going to be doing my December favorites and kind of wrapping up 2018. I have quite a few things to talk about, so let’s get into it.

Starting off with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my December Sephora Play Box. The first is the Too Faced Primed & Peachy Cooling Matte Perfecting Primer- Peaches and Cream Collection. I used this on Christmas Day and I really like it. It blurs any imperfections you have and it helps to brighten your skin. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a primer. And it smells like peaches and cream which is nice bonus. The Peaches and Cream collection is really great.

DSP6

My second favorite is the Trestique Lip Glaze in Paris Pink. I’ve worn this a couple times since getting it and I like it a lot. I would say it’s in between a lipstick and a lip balm. The color is really nice, it’s really long lasting and it’s very hydrating. I’m definitely going to be checking out Trestique to see their other products.

DSP2

DSP9

And my last Sephora Play favorite is the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02 Nothin’ But Nude. This is a really pretty nudey brown and it goes with so many different lipsticks. I like that it’s really soft on the lips and basically glides on. And it has a matte finish. It’s got everything going for it. You can get this in something like 40 shades and I have a couple sitting in my cart right now that I’ll go and purchase after this.

DSP7

DSP8

Moving on, my next favorite is Christmas and within that what I got for Christmas. Starting with my stocking, my parents are pretty good at nailing stocking stuffers. Besides some of my favorite candy, there was a bottle of  Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Spray, which is one of my favorite Bath & Body Works scents. A pack of hair ties, which is always needed, and a little loofa. There was also three mini products. I keep a little kit in my handbag that’s full of minis for all situations, so any additions to it I like. So there’s a Crest 3D White toothpaste, a Softsoap Juicy Pomegranate and Mango Infusions Moisturizing Body Wash and a Gold Bond Ultimate Skin Therapy Cream with Aloe.

CP1

Moving on to my actual presents, there were a few things I didn’t take pictures of and those were socks and some black tank tops, the basics. I did get one other clothing item and it’s a Mariners sweatshirt. I have some Mariners gear but I didn’t have any sweatshirts and I didn’t have any gear in the Sunday colors which are navy blue and gold. I wore this yesterday, it’s super comfortable and cozy and I like the way it fits.

CP10

Next I have a couple of beauty presents and each of these are going to get their own posts, so I’m not going to get too in depth about them. The first is the Sephora Collection The New Neutrals. This is a little box that has five different nude/neutral lipsticks and they’re all really pretty. I’ve worn two of them so far and I’m really happy with them. I’m excited to get into the details of this box.

CP2

The second beauty item is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry palette. I’ve been drooling over this palette since I opened it and honestly I still kind of am. I’ve worn three of the colors so far, not at the same time, but I’m so happy with it. It’s a gorgeous palette.

CP3

CP4

I have one music item and it’s Jeff Lynne’s ELO Wembley Or Bust concert. I bought this on iTunes and have been listening to it but I have yet to watch it and this comes with two CDs and one Blu Ray. I’m definitely excited to watch this.

CP6

CP7

CP8

My last two items are lifestyle related. The first is new headphones. Mine were just old and I had gotten a lot of use out of them. And it’s always funny to me when you get new ones to remember what they’re supposed to sound like.

CP5

The second is also getting it’s own post and it’s an Erin Condren Life Planner. The one I got is the teal and platinum, has my name on it and is the vertical layout. I’m so happy with this, I’ve already started writing in things and I can’t wait to use it throughout 2019.

CP9

That about wraps it up for this post, I want to thank each and everyone of you for reading, following, liking, commenting and everything else. It means a lot. I hope you guys had a good year and here’s to an even better 2019.

Until next time, I hope you all had a great December and I appreciate you all :).

Blogmas Day Eleven: A Year Of Sephora Play

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Eleven! I can’t believe Blogmas is almost over, it’s just flown by. Today I thought it would be fun to go through all of the Sephora Play Boxes I’ve received this year and talk about my favorites from each/what I’ve repurchased. I do a monthly favorites each month and I do talk about some of the Play products, but I’ve had more time to use all of them now and really suss them out. So, let’s get into it.

The first bag I got was in February. I did miss the January box so February was my intro to Sephora Play and it was a good intro.

FSP1

I genuinely love everything in this bag and I use all of them. This eye cream is the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb and it’s my favorite, I talk about it all the time. I will leave links below for each month if you guys want to know more about each of the products.

MPB1

March brought one of my favorite bags and love for new brands. Prior to this I hadn’t used any Amika products and this hair mask changed things for me. I repurchased this pretty much immediately and I’m still using and loving it. And the Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist with SPF 50 was one of my go-to products this summer. It locked in my look and protected my face, I definitely recommend it.

ASP1

April was for blurring and shining. The IT Cosmetics Powder has become a fixture in my makeup bag and I love it. The shine part of this comes from the Urban Decay Hi-fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lipgloss. When I got this box those had just come out and since then I’ve explored the different colors and I even bought some as little stocking stuffers.

MSP1

The May Box had a classic vibe to it, the bag itself has a very Americana feel, which I love. I use the Marc Jacobs mascara regularly, it’s in my mascara rotation and I’m wearing the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner today. The YSL Black Opium remains one of my favorite scents of the year.

JNSP

June gave me a current favorite and two new skincare favorites. When I got this I had been using and loving the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in the shade Queen B which is exactly what this is and I was happy to see it. The formulation of these lipsticks is really great, there is a wide range of colors and the color payoff is fantastic. Before this I had never used a water gel before and that changed with the Murad Nutrient-Charged Water Gel, I loved this during the summer months and I have repurchased it. And then there was the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes and Lips. You guys know how much I love this, it’s a great product.

JSP1

In July I added to my blush collection with this Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush, it’s a really pretty nudey pink. I added to the Caudalie section of my skincare cupboard with the Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence. I’m still using this and very much loving it. And I got another one of my favorite lip products, the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. I really love these, they are incredibly moisturizing and they make your lips feel so soft.

AGSP1

The August Box had a Back To Beauty School theme and it got an A from me. I use pretty much all of these still and I’m happy with them.

SSP1

In September the bags switched over to these plastic bags with the Snap and Lock style closure, you can fit quite a bit in this bags. This is another month where I’m still using everything that I got and liking it.

October gave me the primer I used today, the Tarte Rainforest of The Sea Quench Hydrating Primer. There are a few different primers I use and they’re all really great. It also gave me the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. I love this, it really brightens the skin and it’s quick absorbing.

November was another really great box and I’m wearing this perfume today. It’s Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, it smells so good.

I just got the December Box two days ago, my unboxing went up yesterday, so I’ve only used one of the products so far. It’s the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02 Nothin’ But Nude and I really like it.

That about wraps it up for this post, Sephora sent me a ton of amazing products this year and if you guys were doing Play I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, Sephora Play was definitely worth it, I’m excited to continue next year and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas :).

Blogmas Day Nine: Friendsmas

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Nine! I can’t believe there’s only three days left of Blogmas, it’s just flown by. Today I’m going to be talking about Friendsmas. I exchanged gifts with one of my longtime friends recently, like we’ve been doing for years and it was great. I think we both nailed it this year.

So, starting off with what I got her, I went for a theme this year, and if you read my present wrapping post, then you saw me talking about some of these presents and my thought behind how I wrapped them and if you haven’t read that post I’ll link it below. Like I said, I went with a theme, it was cozy, and I think everything went together nicely.

For the stocking it took me forever to find one that I liked, but I ended up picking this one and I think it’s perfect. The material is kind of shiny, it has the fur on the top and it says It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. And I filled it with five beauty bits. When it came to the stocking I didn’t want to do candy and I didn’t know how candy would ship, so I went with beauty products because when I’m having a cozy night in I like to pamper myself. So there’s a nail polish, face mask, pore strips and a couple of hair treatments.

For the main presents, the big package is a super soft blanket, the red box is a box of tea that she likes and the long blue package is a bookmark. I found this amazing shop on Etsy that makes bookmarks and they are incredible. It’s called The Burlap Butterfly and there are bookmarks for so many different fandoms, they’re so well done and I highly recommend them. I posted a picture of a Harry Potter bookmark I bought myself on my Instagram, if you want to see what they look like.

For the gifts she bought me, I gave her some ideas of things that I wanted but I didn’t know what to expect. We definitely don’t tell each other what we’ve bought in the run up to the opening of the gifts. But she did very well. And it’s not pictured here, but there was a little note in the box as well.

I’ve mentioned before that I really like adult coloring books, I’m a pretty creative person so I enjoy that aspect of it and I also find it to be relaxing. And this one is great because giraffes are my favorite animal.

FMS7

The other thing she got me was a set of stemless wine glasses. But these aren’t normal wine glasses, they have a Harry Potter theme. The first one says Accio Wine! And the other says I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good.

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys hosted or attended any Friendsmas parties I hope you had a great time.

Until next time, have you guys finished your shopping yet and I can’t believe there’s only six days until Christmas :).
