Four Green Makeup Looks Of March 2020

Hi everyone,

Today I thought it would be fun to talk about four makeup looks that I did this month that I had a lot of fun with. I was noticing that I have quite a few different green eyeshadows throughout different palettes, so during the week leading up to St. Patrick’s Day I did different looks using them and I’m really pleased with how they all turned out.

The first look we have is very simple. The first thing I did was prime my face using the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer, I’ve been using this primer for a while and I really like it. First Aid Beauty has a great range of products and all the ones I’ve tried have been great. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. Then I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes and anywhere else I wanted more coverage. I topped that off with the KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Translucent setting powder.

IMG_5286

For the rest of my face I used one of my favorite bronzers, the Nars bronzing powder in Laguna. This is a nice lighter brown that’s really blendable and has a nice shimmer to it. Then I went in with a Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and highlighted using the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold. This is one of my all time favorite highlighters, it’s a beautiful rose gold that really pops when the light hits it without being too over the top.

IMG_5287

IMG_5288

For my eyes I started off by covering them with a little concealer and then I went in with my eyeliner. I used the Lord & Berry Velluto eye pencil in 1808, Supreme Green. This is a deep green that is really pigmented and goes on nice and smooth. I topped that with the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, applied Colourpop Lippie Stix in Slacker, this is a gorgeous peachy/nude in a creme finish and set the look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

The next look is one that I found while scrolling through Pinterest and thought it would be really fun to try and recreate and I’m super happy with how it turned out.

For this look I started with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This is something you can wear on it’s own, under foundation or you can use as a highlighter but I like it the best under foundation and it gives a nice subtle glow. I followed that with my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and I set it with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder. You get a nice smooth finish with this powder and it smells like peaches.

IMG_5291

For the rest of my face I applied the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, this too is a nice lighter brown that blends really nicely. Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.

IMG_5292

IMG_5293

The eye look is where it gets fun. To start I applied the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer, then I went into the big palette from the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Collection and the first shadow I applied is Cream Filling, I used this as a base all over the eye. Then I went in to Oh Snap! And did that in the crease and a little bit on the outer corner of the eye. I wanted something with some sparkle that wasn’t too crazy so I went in to Icing On Top for my eyelid. It’s a gorgeous light rose gold. Then to bring in the green I went to the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar palette and put the deep sparkly green under my eye and for a little bit of pop I put a tiny bit of sparkly silver in the inner corner. Eyeliner wise I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion and I topped off the eyes with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. For my lips I used the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner, which is a great nude liner, and the Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. And set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

The second to last look I did is one that I do more often than any of the others and I think it’s a fun look.

To start I primed my face with the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Quench Hydrating Primer. Then I used my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.

IMG_5299

For the rest of my face I went in first with the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, then with the Too Faced Daydreamer blush. This blush is a light/medium pink, it’s really pretty on and very buildable. Then I used the Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.

IMG_5294

IMG_5295

For my eyes I applied the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer then used the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Palette and the first shadow I used is a really light peachy/nude and I used that as a base all over the eye. Then I went in to a deep matte green and put that lightly in the crease and more heavily on the outer corner of the eye. And I used the sparkly silver on the lid. I applied the KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped off the eyes with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara, this does fantastic things for your lashes. I used the Nars Satin Lipstick in Tolede on my lips and set the look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

And the last look I did was for St. Patrick’s Day. I had a lot of fun with this one and it looked even brighter in person than in the photo.

I started this one with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow then used my Covergirl + Olay foundation, Maybelline Fit Me concealer and KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Translucent Setting Powder.

IMG_5302

For the rest of my face I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and Maybelline Master Chrome highlighter in Molten Rose Gold.

IMG_5292

IMG_5293

For my eyes after applying the Too Faced Shadow Insurance 24+ Hour Anti-Crease Eyeshadow Primer I used that really light peachy/nude shadow from the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Palette as a base, then I went into the e.l.f. Bite Size Eyeshadow Palette in Hot Jalapeno and I used every shade. I first used that light matte green and put that in the crease. Then I used the dark matte green and put that a little bit in the crease but mostly on the outer corner of the eye. I put the bright sparkly gold on the lid and dabbed the light sparkly green on top of that. It made a really fun color mix. I used the KVD Vegan Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and finished the eyes with the Benefit BAD gal BANG! mascara. For my lips I applied the Sephora Collection Rouge Gel Lip Liner in 02 Nothin’ But Nude and the KVD Vegan Beauty Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Ludwig. And set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, I always really like doing these posts so look out for more in the future.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many green eyeshadows :).

Three Recent Makeup Looks Winter Edition

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be showing and walking through three of my recent makeup looks. I always enjoy doing this type of post, and with that being said, let’s get into it.

The first look we have is from right after Christmas when I was wanting to try out my new makeup, so I had a little look through the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party collection. I did do a post on that recently, so I will link that down below. The first thing I did was prime my face with the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Smoothing Primer, I’ve been using this primer for a while and I really like it. It gives me a great base to work with. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. After that I used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and I put that under my eyes to highlight and a few other places. And I topped that off with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper. This has quickly become one of my go to setting powders, it gives you a great smooth finish and it smells like peaches which is a nice addition.

IMG_5012

For the rest of my face I used the blush, bronzer, highlighter palette from the Christmas Cookie House Party collection. The bronzer, Extra Toasty is a really nice lighter brown and it blends really nicely. The blush, Daydreamer is a lighter to medium pink and it’s very buildable and the highlighter, Get Frosted, is gold with pink undertones and it’s so pretty.

IMG_5013

IMG_5014

For my eye look I wanted to do something simple but fun. So the first thing I did was use the Too Faced 24+ Hour Anti Crease Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer. This primer is great, it locks in my eye shadow and it works really well with glitter and shimmer shadows. Then I went in with What A Batch, I used that as my base shadow and because it’s a lighter brown that gives off a nice color, I used a little extra in the crease. Then I used Secret Santa, a deep chocolate brown on the outer corner and brought it in a bit and blended. I then took Easy Bake Lovin’ which is a really pretty, and pigmented, deep sparkly copper and put that over the rest of my eyelid and blended. I used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and topped it off with the Smashbox Super Fan Fanned Out mascara. To bring the look together I used the Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. There are a ton of different shades of these lipsticks but they’re all really pigmented, long wearing and smell like peaches.

IMG_5019

IMG_5020

IMG_4766

My second look was from that time between Christmas and New Years when no one really knows what to do with themselves and for the first time in a while, I was bored. So I thought that having fun with makeup would be a great way to use my time. I was right.

For this look, I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow, then same base as the previous look. Covergirl + Olay Simple Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory. Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.

IMG_5012

For the rest of my face I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer, the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush, which is one of my favorites. And the Too Faced Get Frosted highlighter. The rose gold sparkle in the blush goes so well with the tone and sparkle of Get Frosted.

IMG_5015

IMG_5016

For my eyes I went to the smaller palette in the Christmas Cookie House Party collection and after using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance, I first went in with On A Roll which is a light beigey nude and I used that as a base and I put a little extra in the crease. Then I used Can’t Catch Me, which is a dark brown, in the outer corner and I brought that in a little bit. I then picked the glitter shadow that on first glance stood out the most and that is Snow Pink and it’s rose gold. Since this look I’ve worn another glitter shadow and they’re all so good. I went with my go to Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper for liner and finished the look with the Lancome Monsieur Big mascara, my favorite of the Lancome mascaras. I wanted a more neutral lip so I used the Too Faced Peach Kiss Lipstick in Sex On The Peach. And spritzed my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

IMG_5022

IMG_5024

IMG_4797

And the third look we have is from NYE. For this look I wanted to do something fun and play with color.

My base for this look is the same as the previous, GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow primer, Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory, Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory and Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder.

IMG_5012

For the rest of my face, I used one of my favorite bronzers, Benefit Hoola, then I used the Model Co blush in Peach Bellini and the Too Faced Get Frosted highlighter.

IMG_5017

IMG_5018

For my eyes, the first thing I did was apply the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow primer, then I went in with Cream Filling, which is a nude and I used that as a base. Then I used That’s My Jam, a really fun and pretty berry toned purple and I used that on the outer corner of my eye and brought it in about halfway and blended. I wanted something that would add sparkle and go with the purple, so I used Tinsel Town, which is a sparkly purple/white. I then used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and brought it together with the Urban Decay Perversion mascara. I wanted a little bit of sparkle on my lips as well so I used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Liquid Lipstick in Crush and topped it with 69, Winter Blizzard from the Sephora Collection Frosted Kisses #LipStories set. It’s a metallic white base with pink shimmer and it’s so gorgeous. Then I spritzed my face with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

IMG_5025

IMG_5026

IMG_4806

That about wraps it up for this post, like I said, I quite like doing this type of post so look out for more in the future.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and makeup is always fun :).

January 2020 Sephora Play Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be unboxing my January Sephora Play Box. The theme this month is Stress-Free Beauty. That means that these are products that you can count on in your routine to work every time. The bag itself is plastic with a snap and lock closure at the top. The front is a see through tealy/blue with various beauty and lifestyle products and ‘Play! By Sephora’ in the middle. The back is white with ‘How to PLAY! 1. Open 2. Heart eyes emoji 3. Repeat #SephoraPlay’ written in that same tealy/blue.

IMG_4964

The first product we have is the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask. This is supposed to smooth, hydrate and help protect your hair. You put this on after you shampoo and you lather from root to tip and leave in for five to ten minutes. I have this in my shower right now and I love it. It smells great and my hair feels extra soft and smooth after I use it. If your looking for a hair mask I definitely recommend this one.

IMG_4965

Next we have the GlamGlow SUPERMUD Activated Charcoal Treatment Mask. You put a thin layer of this on your skin, you can also use this as a spot treatment, leave on until it hardens and wash off with warm water. Because this has activated charcoal it’s supposed to be really purifying and great for the skin. I really like charcoal masks, so I’m excited to try this.

IMG_4967

Moving on we have the Shiseido WASO Clear Mega Hydrating Cream. This is a clear gel moisturizer with peony root extract and whole carrot cells that is supposed to give you intense hydration and help to brighten the skin. I tried this a few months ago and there’s something in it that my skin does not like because it made me break out. But I know a lot of people do like this.

IMG_4968

The next product we have is the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. This is one of my absolute favorite eyeliners. It’s really precise, you get a great line and it’s great if you want a hassle free cat eye.

IMG_4969

The second to last product we have is the Lancome Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base. This is a mascara primer, it has a microfiber brush so it gets each lash and vitamin E which helps to nurture and condition your lashes. I personally don’t use mascara primers, I don’t really like them, but this one has great reviews and people seem to really like it.

IMG_4970

And the last product we have, this month’s bonus, is the Philosophy Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette. I’m gonna be honest, I have a cold and I’m stuffed up so I have no idea what this smells like. But it says that it’s floral with bergamot and lily of the valley. I don’t always go for a floral scent in perfume because they can be heavy but I’ll let you guys know what I think of this once I can fully smell.

IMG_4972

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your January Play Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).

Blogmas Day Six: Christmas Day Makeup

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Six! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through and that there’s only two weeks until Christmas. Today I’m going to be showing you guys what my Christmas day makeup is going to be. I like to decide what I’m going to do beforehand, so on the day I can just pop it on and have a chill day. For a while I’ve been doing gold eyes, but this year I wanted something different and this is what I came up with.

So, the first thing I did was moisturizer my face with the Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I really like this, it makes my face really soft and it gives me a nice glow that peeks through my foundation. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. After that I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes to brighten and in a few other places. And I topped that off with the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.

CHM2

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was go in with my bronzer and for that I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Then I applied one of my favorite blushes, the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush. And I topped it off with the Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Highlighter in Sin.

CHM3

CHM4

For my eyes, the first thing I did was use the Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, this is probably my favorite eyeshadow primer. Then I went in to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette and used Twig in the crease. It’s a really nice brown and I use it as a crease color for quite a few looks. Then I used the dark matte brown from the e.l.f. Eye Candy Eyeshadow Duo Set on the outer corner of my eye and I brought that in just a little. And on the rest of the lid I used the bright white shadow from that same e.l.f. duo. I then used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and finished the look with the Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara, it gives you lashes for days.

CHM5

CHM6

ELF8

To top off the whole look I applied the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Maple. This is a deep brick red and I love it. It’s a great red lipstick. And I locked it all in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

CHM7

CHM8

CHM1

That about wraps it up for this post, I always like to do posts like this so look out for more in the future. I’d also love to know what you guys do on Christmas. Do you go a little glam with your look, keep it simple or rock no makeup?

Until next time, have fun creating your looks and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas :).

November Sephora Play Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my November Play Box from Sephora and I thought that today would be the perfect day to go through it. The theme for this month is Beauty For Self Care, meaning that these are products you can use and play with when you’re treating yourself to a chill night. The bag itself is plastic with a snap and lock closure on the top. The front is a pretty see through purple with various beauty and lifestyle products and ‘Play! By Sephora’ in the middle. The back is white with ‘Jugar, Spielen, Giocare, PLAY! #SephoraPlay’ written in purple. Those all mean play in various languages, there is another language as well but it’s an Asian language and I don’t even know how I would attempt to write that.

NVSP5

The first product we have is the Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This is a moisturizer that you can either wear on it’s own or under your foundation. Because this is infused with pearl particles it highlights as it hydrates. I’m wearing this right now and when I put it on I was surprised at how glowy it was. It smells nice, sunk in to my skin quickly and I can tell that I’m more glowy than usual. Overall I really like it.

NVSP1

Next we have the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30. You put this on after your serum and before your foundation. It’s supposed to give you sun protection, a good base to work with and because of the tiger grass, reduce any redness you have plus protect your skin from environmental aggressors. I’ve used one Dr. Jart+ product in the past and I did like it so we’ll see.

NVSP2

Moving on we have the Lancôme Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Mascara. This is a mascara that promises big, full lashes in one coat. The brush you get with this is an odd shape, it’s shaped like an S. I have tried Lancôme mascaras in the past, but the one I used I really didn’t like, the formula was too thick for my liking. But this one seems to be better. I will definitely let you guys know what I think.

NVSP3

NVSP4

The next product we have is the Nars Satin Lipstick in Tolede. This is a really pretty rosy pink shade with a satin finish. I’m wearing this today and I honestly love it. It’s really creamy, nicely pigmented and it has great staying power. I’ve been eating and drinking and it’s holding up really well. I would definitely recommend it.

NVSP6

NVSP7

NVSP8

The second to last product we have is the Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. This is a unique lip product, it’s a lip balm meets lipstick. So you get this nice plum lipstick color but with a lip balm texture. This swatched really nicely and the color is really pretty. I’ll definitely let you guys know what I think, I’ll probably post pictures on Instagram.

NVSP9

NVSP10

NVSP11

And the last product we have, this month’s bonus, is the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium perfume. I have a bottle of this and I absolutely love it. It’s a slightly spicy and very warm scent. It has vanilla undertones and it’s very well balanced. If you haven’t smelled this and you get the chance definitely do, it’s so good.

NVSP12

NVSP13

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your November Play Boxes let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).

September Favorites

Hi everyone,

Happy October and Happy Spooky Season. I’m a couple days late, but today I’m going to be doing my September favorites. I feel like the first half of September flew by and the second half moved at a snail’s pace, but in that time there were a few things that became favorites. And with that being said, let’s get into it.

Starting with beauty I have a couple of favorites from my September Sephora Play Box, which I’ll link below. My first being the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer. This primer is oil free, has a matte finish, does a great job of blurring pores and is safe for sensitive skin. I don’t use matte primer a lot but this one I’ve really been liking. It does have a scent, which isn’t something I typically like, but this is a fruity/fresh smell so it’s not bad at all. First Aid Beauty makes some of my favorite skincare products and this is now one of them.

SPSP3

My other Play favorite is the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara in Classic Black. I honestly can’t even tell you how much I love this mascara. From the minute I put it on I was so impressed. It makes my lashes really full and voluminous and super long. Lashes for days. The formula is great because it’s really smooth, I haven’t experienced any flaking or transfer and because it’s so smooth it’s really buildable so no lashes sticking together and looking clumpy. I also really like the brush. Its nice and big and it gets all of my lashes. I highly recommend.

SPSP5

SPSP6

My second to last beauty favorite is a nail polish. It’s Sinful Colors 2621, Nakey Nay from the Naughty Nudes Collection. This polish is so pretty. It’s a bronzey almost caramel color and when the light hits it you can really see the depth and the sparkle. I’ve looked into the rest of the Naughty Nudes Collection and it all looks so nice and like I’m going to be buying more nail polish soon.

SEPT2

SEPT3

SEPT1

And my last beauty favorite is my new hair. I had been growing my hair for so long and I decided it was time to change it up. I knew that I wanted to cut a lot of it off, it ended up being somewhere between 12-15 inches, and I knew that I wanted to be more blonde again. So I told my hairdresser and she went from there. I didn’t ever think that I would do anything in the red family but I really like the shade she chose and overall I’m so happy with it and I feel like it brightens me up, which I’m happy about.

SEPT4

Moving on I have a TV show favorite and it’s Downton Abbey. I was scrolling through Amazon looking for something to watch after finishing a show and I came across Downton. I didn’t watch it when it was on originally but I know what a huge success it was and continues to be. I’m currently on season 3, I think I have one or two episodes left but I’m absolutely loving it. I’m excited to see the movie as well. If you’ve seen the movie, no spoilers, but I’d love to know what you thought.

And my last favorite is a music favorite, and it’s This Train from Joe Bonamassa’s Live At The Sydney Opera House album, which is available on October 25th. This is one of those really fun songs that’s like the perfect balance of bluesy and bouncy. And I’m excited to hear the rest of the album and I definitely recommend giving it a listen if you haven’t.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great September :).

September Sephora Play Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my September Play Box from Sephora and I thought today would be the perfect day to go through it. The theme this month is Must-See Beauty. Basically products that will grab your attention and that you’ll love. The bag itself is a really pretty light blue with various beauty and lifestyle products and Play! By Sephora in the middle. The back is white with ‘How to PLAY! 1. Open 2. (emoji with heart eyes) 3. Repeat #SephoraPlay’ written in blue.

SPSP1

The first product we have is the Belif The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb. I’ve used this before, a while ago and I quite liked it. It makes your skin feel really soft and smooth and it’s supposed to retain moisture for up to 26 hours.

SPSP2

The next product we have is the First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Pores Be Gone Matte Primer. This is an oil free primer with a matte finish that is supposed to blur your pores and really lock in your makeup. It also has fig extract which is supposed to have antibacterial properties and be good for the skin. This is good for combination, oily and normal skin and like all First Aid Beauty products it’s safe for sensitive skin. I’m wearing it right now and I didn’t know how much I would like it at first because matte primers aren’t always my favorite but so far I’m really liking it. It did blur my pores and my makeup hasn’t moved. It does have a scent but it’s like a fresh, fruity smell so I don’t mind it.

SPSP3

Moving on we have the Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in 4.5, Neutral Deep Brown. I’ve said this before, but when it comes to brows I prefer to use powder, but in the past I’ve used Gimme Brow and it’s honestly so good. Benefit does brows so well that everything in their range is great.

SPSP4

Next we have the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara in Classic Black. I have heard so many good things about this mascara, so I was excited to have a chance to finally try it out. I’m wearing it today and let me just say, holy lashes Batman. It’s so good. The brush is nice and big, it coats all of my lashes, I’ve not had any flaking and because the formula is so smooth it makes it really buildable without making your lashes stick together or being gloopy. I definitely recommend giving this a try if you haven’t.

SPSP5

SPSP6

The second to last product we have is the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask. This is a conditioning mask that you put on after you shampoo and leave for about 10 minutes and it’s supposed to help prevent any future damage, restore moisture and create vibrancy. It has coconut, avocado, almond and argan oils along with biotin and vitamin B5. This is color safe and safe to use on chemically treated, keratin treated and relaxed hair. And it’s free of artificial dyes, silicones and is cruelty free. As a brand I quite like Briogeo and I love a good hair mask, so I’m excited to try this and I’ll let you guys know what I think.

SPSP7

And the last product we have, this month’s bonus, is the Viktor&Rolf Magic Sage Spell. This is a very earthy scent. It’s fresh but has a hint of sweetness and a brightness. Not the typical scent that I would go for but it smells really nice. I would say to give it a smell if you haven’t and you get the chance.

SPSP8

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your September Play Box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).

May Sephora Play Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my May Play Box from Sephora, so I thought today would be the perfect day to go through it. The theme this month is Beauty Bffs, products that you’ll want to tell everyone about. The bag this month is plastic with a snap and lock closure, the front is see through red with various beauty and lifestyle products and Play! By Sephora in the middle. The back is white with ‘What are you waiting for? Open me! #SephoraPlay’ written in red with an arrow pointing at the opening of the bag.

MYSP1

So the first product we have is the dpHue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse. This has apple cider vinegar, aloe vera and argan oil and you’re basically supposed to use it in place of your shampoo and conditioner. It’s supposed to refresh your scalp, protect your color and add softness. I’ve never used anything like this before and I’m intrigued by it. I’ll let you guys know what I think.

MYSP2

The second product we have is the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel. This is a product I have in my skincare cabinet, I’ve been using it for a while and I love it. You put a little in your hands, rub them together until it foams up and put it on your face. It removes everything and leaves your skin feeling really soft and hydrated. It has vitamin C and marine plant extracts and it’s something I will always recommend.

MYSP3

Next up we have the KORA Organics Noni Glow Face Oil. This is made from Noni extract which comes from the Noni fruit and it has a ton of antioxidants, and includes vitamins A and C. This is supposed to moisturize your skin, smooth and brighten. I’m excited to try this out and I’ll let you guys know what I think.

MYSP4

Moving on we have the Lancôme CILS Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base. This is a lash primer that has vitamin E and is supposed to strengthen and lengthen your lashes. You can also wear this at night as a lash mask. I don’t always use lash primers, but I’ll give this one a go.

MYSP5

MYSP6

The second to last product we have is the Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara. This is a mascara that I use, I’m wearing it today, and I absolutely love it. It gives me a ton of volume and length and it doesn’t clump. This mascara 100% lives up to the hype and if you’re looking for a new mascara I definitely recommend giving this one a try.

MYSP7

And the last product, this month’s bonus, is Viktor&Rolf Magic Salty Flower. This smells really nice. It’s warm and spicy but also a little floral and fresh. It’s really nicely balanced and a great summer scent. I’m for sure going to order a bottle of this. If you haven’t smelled this and you get the chance I definitely would.

MYSP8

That about wraps it up for this post, if you got any of the same products in your May Play Boxes let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).

Spring Skincare Routine

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be sharing my spring skincare routine with you. I’ve done a few of these posts in the past and I quite like them. I have two routines, one from the beginning of spring and one that I’ve been doing more recently and that includes products that I got more recently. I will link all the products I mention below. That being said, let’s get into it.

So for the first routine, the first thing I do is use the Clinique Take The Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lips and Lashes. It has a great formula that is really gentle but super effective, no scrubbing needed. I put this on a cotton pad and swipe it over my eyes and lips.

JNSP4

My next step is to take off the rest of my makeup and for that I use the IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Cleanser. All you do is gently massage this onto wet skin for about 30 seconds and rinse when you’re done. This is different to other cleansers because it not only cleanses but it moisturizes. The first time I used this I wanted to see how good it really was so I didn’t use anything else after and I was impressed. So it’s great in either application.

MRSP2

After that I use the Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence. I put this on a cotton pad and swipe it over my entire face. This really helps to remove any dead skin cells so your serums and moisturizers can really sink in to work to their fullest.

JSP5

My next step is serum and I have two that I go between. The first is the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. This is really great for evening out your skin tone and brightening your skin. The second is the Olehenriksen Truth Serum. This is full of Vitamin C, aloe juice and green tea and orange extracts. It’s super hydrating and also brightens your skin.

OSP3

SSP7

I follow that with my moisturizer, which is the Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Deep Cream. I recently repurchased this because I was using it almost everyday and it’s so good. It’s very moisturizing, it sinks in to the skin quickly and my skin loves it.

AGSP9

My second to last step is to apply eye cream. For that I use my holy grail eye cream that I talk about all the time, Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. I’ve been using this for a while now and I love it.

FSP3

And the last thing I do, and I do this right before I go to bed, is to put on a lip product. I have two that I go between. The first is Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask in Natural, I’ve been using this for a while and it always makes my lips super soft. And the second is Vanilla Softlips. I’ve been using Softlips for years and it’s a product that I know is always going to hydrate my lips and smell good doing it.

JSP4

AF3

On to the second routine, this has quite a few new/different products starting with what I use to take off my eye makeup. And that is the Lancôme Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover. This easily takes off all of the long lasting/waterproof whatever I’m wearing and it leaves my skin feeling refreshed.

DSP5

My next step is to take off the rest of my makeup and to do that I use the Sephora Collection Triple Action Cleansing Water. This is a very recent addition to my skincare routine and I’ve really been liking it. I put it on a cotton pad and swipe over my entire face. This is soap free so you don’t have to rinse after using and it has Matcha Green Tea extract which is great for the skin.

APB8

I follow that with the Caudalie Vinoperfect Concentrated Brightening Essence.

JSP5

And my serums, Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum and Olehenriksen Truth Serum.

OSP3

SSP7

I then moisturize using the Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto Replenishing Hydrator. This is incredible. It sinks in to the skin quickly, it’s light and it does keep hydrating your skin. My face feels so soft after using it, it’s been a game changer in my routine.

FBSP3

My second to last step is eye cream and for that I use the Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream. This is the only thing I’ve tried that really rivals the Belif cream. This is really good. It hydrates, brightens and I can tell that I look more refreshed after using it.

APB9

When it comes to putting on a lip product, besides the Vanilla Softlips, I’m also using the Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment in Dream. This always leaves my lips feeling really moisturized and it smells amazing.

AF3

APB4

That about wraps it up for this post, if we use any of the same products let me know and if not I’d love to know what products you do use.

Until next time, have fun with your routine and you can never have too many skincare products :).

Sephora Favorites Lashstash Review

Hi everyone,

Today I have a fun post for you, it was my birthday last Friday and one of the presents I received was the Sephora Favorites Lashstash. This is a set of ten mascaras, two of which are full size. I love trying different mascaras, so this was a great gift. I really like this packaging, the box is in a sleeve that has a picture of all of the mascaras and a description of them on the back. Once you take that off you see a nice pinky purple box with what I would describe as up close images of glitter and sparkles. On the inside it says Love, Sephora #sephorafavorites and all the mascaras are lined up.

sfl1

sfl2

sfl3

sfl4

The first mascara we have is full size and it’s the Urban Decay Perversion Bigger, Blacker, Badder in Black. I haven’t tried all of them yet, but this one I have worn and I quite like it. Prior to this I hadn’t worn Urban Decay mascara, so I was excited to try it. It not only gave my lashes volume, but they looked longer and it went on really smooth. The brush is more of a big and fluffy-ish brush and when I saw it I expected there would be some clumping but there really wasn’t.

sfl5

sfl6

The second mascara we have is the Milk Makeup Kush Mascara in Boom. I am a Milk Makeup newbie, I haven’t tried any of their products. So I’m interested to try this and see what it does for my lashes, I have heard good things. And this is supposed to give you long lasting high volume.

sfl7

sfl8

Next we have the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash Mascara in Ultra Black. As a brand, I really like Hourglass. Their Ambient Lighting Powders are incredible and their foundation sticks are really nice. So, when I saw this mascara I was excited by it. I have worn this and it gave me really nice, full lashes. One coat probably would have done it, but I never do just one coat, and I was happily surprised at not only how buildable this is, but at how light it felt after layering. And this brush is cool in the fact that the end isn’t pointed, I guess I would call it tapered, and I was able to get all of my lashes successfully.

sfl9

sfl10

sfl11

Moving on, we have the Smashbox Super Fan Fanned-Out Mascara in Black. This is the first mascara that I tried when I got this box and it definitely does what it says on the tin. My lashes were lengthened and fanned out and I really liked the look. This has a silicone brush and it’s a 360 design, so no matter how you turn it, you’re getting the mascara. I know some people don’t like the silicone brushes, but I’ve never had a problem and this one is nice, the bristles are the perfect length.

sfl12

sfl13

There are three mascaras in this box that I use regularly and love, and this is one of them. It’s the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume Mascara in Black. This mascara really does give you big volume and it has jojoba oil so it doesn’t flake or clump. The brush is curved in the middle so you get maximum coverage.

sfl14

sfl15

The next mascara that I use and love has been my go-to holy grail mascara forever and it’s Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I always get full, defined and luscious lashes and this has a permanent spot in my makeup bag.

sfl16

sfl17

Moving on, we have the second full size mascara, Lancôme Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara in 01 Excessive Black. I’ve never worn a Lancôme mascara before, but I was intrigued by this one. The brush has a pretty serious curve in it and it’s supposed to give you big lashes in one coat, so I’ll let you guys know what I think.

sfl18

sfl19

sfl20

The third mascara that I use and love is the Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara in Noir. You really do get major volume from this and it has a nice big brush.

sfl21

sfl22

The second to last mascara isn’t a mascara, it’s the Dior Diorshow Maximizer 3D/ Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer. I’ve never worn a lash primer, but my mom really likes them, so I’ll give this a try and see what I think.

sfl24

sfl23

sfl25

And the last mascara we have is the Benefit BAD gal BANG! Mascara in Black. There was a lot of hype when this came out and now I fully understand why. The length and volume you get from this is insane. I was really impressed and this will for sure have a place in my makeup bag. The brush is a long, skinnier silicone brush that has a lot of flex in it, so you can get all of your lashes.

sfl26

sfl27

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys have tried/use any of these regularly let me know which one and if you have this box, I’d love to know which is your favorite.

Until next time, you can never have too many mascaras and may your lashes always be full :).
