Halloween Inspired Makeup Looks

Hi everyone,

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted, but now that it’s getting into the holiday season I wanted to start posting again. I find the content comes a little bit easier during this time of the year, and to that end, today I have a Halloween inspired makeup looks post for you guys. I love this style of post, so I’m excited to be doing it again.

I have two different looks to talk about today, both of which I really love. I think the first one I like a little bit more, but it’s a purple and silver look.

So, the first thing I did was prime my face, and to do that I applied the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, then I dropped it on my bathroom floor so it’s currently a little broken and I’m sad about it. Then I went into the Ofra Charm Your Cheeks Mini Blush Palette and applied a mix of Pink Satin and Candy Apple. And I highlighted using a mix of Icy and Poppin’ from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette and taking the shade Carnival, applied it in the crease. Next I went to the Ace Beaute Falling For You Palette and took the shade Chestnut, applied it in the crease lightly, making sure to really blend it. Then I brought it down and packed it on the outer corner of my eye. For the rest of my eye, I applied the shade Cyborg from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette. I then took a mix of Carnival and Chestnut and put that under my eye about 3/4 of the way and for the inner corner of my eye, applied Poppin’ from the Ace Beaute Glow Essentials Highlighter Palette. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black. Because this is a specialized look and I had a specific vision in mind, I decided to put some lashes on and specifically the Flirtacious Looks Cosmetics Baby Girl lashes. For my lips I wanted a shade I didn’t have, so I made it by mixing the Sephora Collection #LipStories Lipstick in 31 and the Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Muse. And I set everything with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

The second look I did is an orange and green, pumpkin inspired look. So the first thing I did was prime my face with the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Item Beauty Air Hug Concealer in 100 and I set it with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Hanalei Beauty Company Matte Bronzer, then I applied the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee and I highlighted with the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Beauty Bakerie Sour Ya Doin’? Palette and in the crease, applied a mix of Bellini Me and Choctails. I then applied Refresher across my entire eyelid and to add a little dimension, I applied, and blended, just a little bit of Vacation from the Ace Beaute Nostalgia Palette, into the top of the Bellini Me and Choctails mix. I didn’t line my eyes this time, I just went straight to lashes and again, applied the Flirtacious Looks Cosmetics Baby Girl lashes. Then, for the green aspect I took Theme Park from the Nostalgia Palette and mixed that with Silico from the PowerPuff Girls x ColourPop Palette and in the inner corner of my eye, I applied a little bit of the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter. For my lips I first lined them with the Model Co Illusion Lip Liner and filled them in with the Sophia + Mabelle Hydrating Hybrid Lipstick in Topless. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, let me know which of the two looks is your favorite and if you’re doing a fun look for Halloween, I’d love to know what it is!

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and have a Happy Halloween :).

Tarte Fall Feels Palette Review

Hi everyone,

Today we’re back with another palette review and this time it’s of the Tarte Fall Feels Eye & Cheek Palette. I saw looking through the Sephora website recently, to see if they had any good fall-like palettes and I came across this one.

I normally wouldn’t show the outer packaging of a palette, but this box was too cute not to. The gold with the pink and the black and white really does give the fall vibes without being stereotypical fall. It’s a nice touch.

IMG_9260

The palette itself is one of the cutest I’ve seen in a while. It’s a pink and black flannel with a yellow stripe, and the best part, is it’s actually fuzzy. I love that they did this, it’s super cute and is the definition of fall feels.

IMG_9261

You do get a mirror with this palette, it’s a little round mirror that says ‘Tarte’ on the bottom. You might be able to see in this picture, and you’ll definitely be able to see in the next picture, that the flannel pattern runs inside as well with the shinier black on top of the matte black.

IMG_9262

So this palette is an 8 pan palette, 7 of those are eyeshadows and 1 is a blush. This palette has Amazonian Clay like a lot of Tarte products do for longer, truer and better wear, mineral pigments to soften and soothe skin and it has a light chocolate scent. This palette is also cruelty free, gluten free and has no parabens, phthalates, mineral oil or triclosan.

IMG_9263

The blush is in the shade Fall Feels and it’s a lighter pinky nude shade. It’s a little bit lighter than I usually go for, but I built it up for the picture and when it’s built up I like it a lot more.

IMG_9264

On to the shadows, the first shadow we have is Homecoming, which is a light matte cream. Next to that is Hayride, which is a matte warm tan. Then there’s Corn Maze, a really nice gold shimmer and the last shade on the top is Pumpkin Patch, a deep copper shimmer.

IMG_9265

Moving to the bottom, the first shade we have is Apple Picking, a red shimmer. Next to that is Sippin’ Cider which is a darker, forest green shimmer and the last shadow we have is Tailgate, which is a navy blue shimmer.

IMG_9266

That about wraps it up for this post, overall I think this is a great little palette and there is a lot of versatility. From the swatches I can tell you that the mattes are really smooth, the shimmers are nicely pigmented and pretty creamy. I will be doing a Three Recent Looks post with this palette, so look out for that.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eyeshadow palettes :).

August Favorites

Hi everyone,

As it’s the last day of the month I thought it would be the perfect time to do my August favorites. I have a pretty good mix this month, so let’s get into it.

Starting beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my August BoxyCharm box, and if you haven’t read that post I’ll link it down below. My first Boxy favorite is the Vitamasques Glow Juicy Berries Face Mask. I love a good sheet mask and this is exactly that. It probiotic and adaptogenic with Vitamin C, Niacinamide and a Super Berry Complex that has blackberry and raspberry to brighten the skin and improve uneven skin tone. I did feel like this brightened my skin and I would repurchase. This came in a set with another mask, which after this I can’t wait to use. I definitely recommend Vitamasques if you’re in the market for good face masks.

IMG_9031

My next beauty favorite is the Voilition Beauty Hibiscus Unspottable Correcting Oil. This is an oil that redeuces the appearance of dark spots and discoloration, soothes the appearance of stressed skin, hydrates and helps to improve moisture retention and minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I have a couple little dark spots from acne scars so I started using this right after I got it and it does seem to be helping. One of them has completely gone away and I can definitely tell that the others are lightening. This comes with a little dropper applicator, so you don’t get too much coming out and you do get 35 ml/1.1 oz, so there’s a decent amount. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a face oil.

IMG_9033

And my last beauty favorite is the Dito Cosmetics Limited Edition Venus 12 Shade Eyeshadow Palette. I was really excited when I saw this palette because I’m a big space nerd and obviously I love makeup, so it’s the perfect combination. I’m currently working on a ‘3 Recent Looks’ with this palette, so I won’t say too much about it or give too many opinions, but I am liking it. It’s a really fun palette.

IMG_9035

IMG_9037

Moving on to a random favorite, I’m really loving the weather right now. We’re at the end of summer right now so it’s not as hot, but this week we’ve had some colder and definitely more fall-like days and I’m all for it. I also love that we’re seeing the seasonal foods, beauty/skincare, decor and clothes start to pop up.

And my last favorite is a music favorite, well actually, multiple music favorites. So many of my favorite bands/musicians have new music out right now and it’s a good time. The Doobie Brothers have four new songs out currently, and their newest album, which I have preordered and I preordered a physical copy, is coming out in October, so I’m very excited for that. I really like the four songs they have out now, so if the whole album is like that it’s going to be fantastic. Joe Bonamassa also has another new song out, the second single from his upcoming album, and I like it a lot. I like it more than the first single, and this one is more blues forward which, in my opinion, is what he does best even though he absolutely gets away with genre bending and blending. I absolutely recommend giving all these songs a listen if you haven’t.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your August favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you had a great August :).

2018 Halloween playlist and festive nails

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be talking about my 2018 Halloween playlist. I did a post like this a few years ago, I will link it down below, and I thought it was about time that I updated it. It’s on Spotify so I will leave a link to it down below if you want to go and give it a listen.

The songs that were on it from years past were I Put A Spell On You, there are three versions, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Buddy Guy and Carlos Santana and my favorite of the three Joe Cocker. Monster Mash (Bobby Pickett and The Crypt-Kickers), Ghostbusters (Ray Parker Jr), Thriller (Michael Jackson), Werewolves Of London (Warren Zevon), Superstition (Stevie Wonder), Bat Out of Hell (Meat Loaf), Black Magic (Little Mix), Highway To Hell (AC/DC), Bad Moon Rising (Creedence Clearwater Revival) and Cajun Moon (Eric Clapton). This year I really took the time to look for songs that I not only like but that I would want to hear if I was at a Halloween party or on Halloween night. So I added the following songs, Hungry Like The Wolf (Duran Duran), Witchy Woman (Eagles), Voodoo Chile (Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood), Voodoo Child (Slight Return) (Jimi Hendrix), Sympathy For The Devil (The Rolling Stones), Black Magic Woman (Santana), Runnin’ With The Devil (Van Halen), Evil Woman (ELO), Evil Woman- Live at Wembley (ELO) I included two versions of this song because sometimes a song is better live and I happen to really like this one live. The Time Warp (Richard O’Brien), Frankenstein (The Edgar Winter Group) and Hells Bells (AC/DC).

Because this post is slightly short and I don’t think I’m posting another Halloween post before the 31st, I’m going to show you guys the festive nails I did yesterday. Normally I go with a bloody nail look, but I wanted to branch out this year so I went with Frankenstein inspired nails. I do like how they came out, but I’m missing a detail brush so the scars are slightly bigger than I wanted them but you can tell what I’m going for.

HN1

For this I used LA Colors Color Last in CNP31 Onyx, Salon Perfect 502 Loopy Lime and Sally Hansen Big Matte Top Coat. I’m really liking mattes right now and I love the look of matte black nails so I’m really happy that I went with it.

HN2

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys have any more songs suggestions let me know and if you did Halloween nails tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram because I’d love to see.

Until next time, if you’re going to or hosting any parties have fun and I hope you all have a Happy Halloween! 🙂

Halloween drinks: non alcoholic edition

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be doing part two of my series of Halloween posts and it’s all about non alcoholic Halloween drinks. If you’re having a Halloween party or just want a cool drink for Halloween night these drinks are really fun and great for kids and those who don’t feel like having a cocktail.

The first drink is Polyjuice Potion Punch. I’m a Harry Potter fan and I think this is a really creative way to incorporate it into your Halloween fun.

What You Need:

  • A 1/2 gallon of Lime Sherbet
  • 2 liters of Sprite
  • A few drops of neon green food coloring

What You Do:

  • In a large punch bowl use a spoon or ice cream scoop and scoop the lime sherbet into the middle.
  • Then slowly pour in the 2 liters of Sprite, make sure to do this slowly as it will fizz and potentially run over.
  • And finally add the neon green food coloring, a few drops should do it, until it really pops.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Next we have Fanta Jack O’ Lantern Floats, these are super easy and so much fun. This recipe makes eight drinks.

What You Need:

  • 2 liters of Fanta Orange soda
  • 1 container of Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Clear plastic cups, decorated like jack o’ lanterns, this is optional and if you don’t want to go through the process of decorating cups I know they have plastic cups that already look like jack o’ lanterns
  • Orange or Halloween themed straws

What You Do:

  • Take one of the plastic cups and in the bottom pour a little bit of the Fanta.
  • Then to that add a scoop of the vanilla ice cream and pour more Fanta on top until it’s bubbly and float like.
  • Continue this process until you’ve made the desired amount of floats.
  • Add a straw, serve and enjoy!

The second to last drink we have is Hocus Pocus Halloween Punch. Hocus Pocus is a classic and my favorite Halloween movie, so I had to include this one. This recipe makes one drink.

What You Need:

  • 8 ounces of V8 Peach Mango
  • 6 ounces of Izze Peach
  • 1 scoop of Mango Sorbet
  • Halloween straws

What You Do:

  • In a glass, whatever you prefer, pour in the V8 Peach Mango then pour in the Izze Peach.
  • Top that off with the mango sorbet.
  • Add a Halloween straw, serve and enjoy!

And the last drink we have is Magic Potion Punch. This one I’ve made before and it’s honestly really fun and you get to be a bit of a scientist. This can be made in a large punch bowl, but this recipe is by cup.

What You Need:

  • 1/8 of a cup of Lemonade
  • 1/8 of a cup of Grape Juice
  • 3/4 of a cup of Lemon Lime Soda, I use Sprite
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered Grape JELL-O

What You Do:

  • In an 8 ounce cup add the lemonade and the grape juice. Then add in the Sprite and stir to combine.
  • To that add the powdered JELL-O and what will happen is it will start to bubble and fizz making it look like a magic potion. If it doesn’t fizz right away add a little bit more Sprite or whatever soda you’re using. It will make it fizz.
  • Serve and enjoy!

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys make any of these drinks tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram.

Until next time, enjoy your drinks and if you guys have any other drink suggestions let me know! 🙂

Halloween cocktails

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be doing the first in a series of Halloween posts and it’s all about Halloween cocktails. Whether you’re having a party or you just want something fun to drink while handing out candy, these cocktails are perfect.

The first cocktail is Blood Orange Sangria and this recipe serves four to six.

What You Need:

  • 6 blood oranges
  • 2 750 ML bottles of Pinot Grigio
  • 1 cup of Club Soda
  • 1/2 cup of Brandy
  • 12 ounces of strawberries sliced
  • 1 pint of raspberries
  • 1 chopped apple
  • 1/2 cup of sugar to rim the glasses

What You Do:

  • Take one blood orange and zest it, then in a small bowl combine the sugar and the orange zest. Rub it together with your fingers until the orange zest is fragrant.
  • Then take four of the blood oranges and juice them, discarding any seeds. And cut the remaining blood oranges into pieces.
  • In a large pitcher pour in the blood orange juice, wine, brandy, club soda, apples, strawberries, raspberries and blood oranges and stir until well combined.
  • Take the orange zest sugar and place it on a plate. Get your glasses and run an orange, lemon or lime around the rim of each glass and dunk them in the sugar, making sure you coat them well.
  • Fill each of the glasses with a couple of ice cubes, pour the sangria and added some fruit from the pitcher to top it off.
  • Serve and enjoy!
  • This can be made overnight or ahead of time because it definitely gets better the longer the flavors can combine.

The second cocktail we have is Pumpkin Pie Shots. This recipe is super easy and makes four shots.

What You Need:

  • 2 ounces of Caramel Vodka
  • 2 ounces of Pumpkin Spice liquor
  • 2 ounces of Rumchata
  • Sugar to rim the glasses, but this is optional

What You Do:

  • Pour the Caramel Vodka, Pumpkin Spice liquor and Rumchata in a cocktail shaker and shake until well combined.
  • If you want to rim the glasses, dip them in corn syrup then dunk in a shallow dish with colored sugar.
  • Pour evenly into the four glasses serve and enjoy!

The second to last cocktail we have is a Ghost-tini, this is on the sweet/rich side. And this recipe makes three to four cocktails.

What You Need:

  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 packet of Sweet’N Low
  • 4 ounces of Whipped Cream Vodka. You can also use Vanilla or White Chocolate if you prefer them
  • 4 ounces of Rumchata
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 6 Lindor White Chocolate Truffles
  • Candy eyes and lollipop sticks

What You Do:

  • Roughly chop the White Chocolate Truffles and add them to a small saucepan with the heavy cream and the Sweet ‘N Low. Stir over low heat until the chocolate is melted, smooth and everything is well combined. Remove it from the heat and set aside.
  • Once the white chocolate mixture has cooled, put it in the blender and add the vodka, Rumchata and ice. Blend that until the ice is completely broken up and it’s all well combined.
  • Take the lollipop sticks and carefully put it through candy eyes, making sure they’re in the middle of the stick.
  • Pour the martini into the glasses and top with the candy eyes on a stick.
  • Serve and enjoy!

And the last cocktail we have is the Purple Potion and this recipe makes one drink.

What You Need:

  • 2 ounces of Vodka
  • 2 ounces of Coconut Juice
  • 5 ounces of Pomegranate Italian Soda
  • 5 ounces of Pineapple Juice
  • Purple food coloring, this is optional
  • Dry Ice

What You Do:

  • In a tall glass combine the vodka, coconut juice, pomegranate Italian soda and pineapple juice.
  • If the purple color isn’t exactly where you want it, add a drop of the food coloring.
  • To make it really potion like, add one small cube of dry ice and make sure you use tongs. Don’t drink until the dry ice has dissipated and be sure to make guests aware of this as well.
  • Serve and enjoy!

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys make any of these drinks tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram and if you have any drink suggestions of your own let me know.

Until next time, have fun at your parties and enjoy your drinks :).

October favorites

Hi everyone,

First off I want to say happy November. I can’t believe this year has gone by so fast, but as it is the first of the month I thought it would be a good time to do my October favorites. Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my October Glam Bag. If you haven’t yet read that post I will link it down below. The first is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I’ve been using this everyday since I got it and I absolutely love it. I don’t have particularly dry skin, but it is getting colder and the cold can be harsh on your skin and this is the perfect thing to combat that. I definitely recommend it.

OGB2

My next favorite is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion. This is one of my favorite pencil liners that I’ve used. It glides on smooth and once it’s on it doesn’t smudge. However, I am the type that if I’m going to mess up my liner it’s going to be with a pencil opposed to a liquid, so if you do happen to mess this up or smudge while applying it can get a little messy. And definitely don’t be like me and try to do eyeliner in the car. But besides that, I love it.

OGB3

Next up we have the MDMflow Liquid Matte Lipstick in Retro. I can’t express how much I love this lipstick. I absolutely love the color and the formulation and staying power are amazing. It’s a very well made product and I want to wear all of the MDMflow lipsticks. Definitely check them out.

OGB5

And here’s a picture of me wearing the Urban Decay liner and this MDMflow lipstick.

OF9

And my last favorite is a Pretty Woman NYC nail polish in the shade Wine With Ice, Garçon. I’ve mentioned how much I love the Pretty Woman NYC nail polishes, they last and the formulation is really nice. And this one in particular, it being a deep wine color, is the perfect shade for fall.

OGB7

OF10

Moving on, I have a food favorite. And it’s the Yoplait French style Oui yogurt. These yogurts are thick, creamy and only made with a few ingredients and I really like them. They come in these little glass pots and I think they’re the perfect size. There are a couple of different flavors, but my favorites are the Vanilla, Black Cherry and Lemon.

OF1

My second to last favorite is Halloween. Halloween kicks off the holiday season and it’s always been one of my favorites. I love to dress up and be festive. I went to a Halloween party like I do every year and I honestly changed my mind on my costume like four times, but I ended up going as a cowgirl and I had a lot of fun.

OF2

OF3

OF4

It is worth noting that my lipstick is the Too Faced Melted Matte lipstick in Lady Balls, it’s one of my favorite red lipsticks, and my boots are from Just Fab.

I also carved a pumpkin because you can’t have Halloween without pumpkins and I went with a bat design this year.

OF6

OF7

OF8

And my last favorite is a music favorite. And it’s two songs from Eric Clapton’s Behind The Sun album. Behind The Sun has always been an album that I liked and it has some fantastic songs on it. The first is It All Depends and the second is Something’s Happening. These two songs are so different but they’re both amazing and if you haven’t heard them or any other songs from the album definitely give them a listen. It’s so worth it.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites in October let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.

Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope everyone had a great October :).

Three easy makeup looks and OOTD’s- Summer 2017

Hi everyone,

Today, as summer is pretty much over, I wanted to share three of my favorite outfits and makeup looks from summer 2017. I’ve done a couple of these previously and I really enjoy them. So the first look is from July and I’m still so in love with it, I don’t know where the shorts are from as they were a gift but the necklace I bought at Forever 21 ages ago.

Ootds1

Ootds4

So, starting with my face and after going through my morning routine, I started with my foundation, which I am out of but I’m going on a little shop tomorrow to pick up another, I use the L’Oreal Paris true match super-blendable foundation in the shade N2, Classic Ivory. To go with that I use the matching L’Oreal true match concealer in N 1-2-3, Fair/Light and I top that with the e.l.f. HD Powder in Sheer and use an e.l.f. powder brush to apply. I’m almost out of that too, but I ordered the Tarte Amazonian Clay finishing powder so I’ll let you know what I think of that. As for my bronzer I use the bronzer in the e.l.f. blush palette in light and the blush I used is the blush from the palette on the right in the bottom left corner. And finishing off my face I use the Urban Decay Afterglow 8 hour powder highlighter in Sin, still my favorite highlighter definitely recommend it and I apply that with the e.l.f. fan brush.

Ootds6

Moving on to eyes, I went to one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes, the e.l.f. Everyday Smoky palette. I used the two brown shades in the middle, I applied the lighter brown with a Bare Escentuals eyeshadow brush and blended the darker brown with the Skone blending brush and used another brush to apply a light shimmer, third from the left, to the inner corner of my eyes and under my brows. Mascara wise I used my trusty Maybelline Falsies Volum Express and Maybelline Great Lash and using an angle brush, I filled in my brows using Too Faced Up in Smoke. And I finished the look with a Too Faced Melted Matte lipstick, which are some of my favorite lipsticks, in the shade Queen B.

My second look is from July 4th and I always love doing a festive look.

Ootds2

Ootds4

Face wise I kept everything the same as my last look.

Ootds7

For my eyes I used Smolder from the Too Faced Smokey Eye palette and blended it out and used White Lie in the inner corner of my eyes and under my brows. The eyeliner I used is one of my favorites, I’ve talked about it many times, and it’s the EM Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner with a Brush Tip. The Falsies and Great Lash for my lashes and Up in Smoke for my brows. And of course I had to do a red lip, so I used the Too Faced Melted Matte in Lady Balls. This is hands down one of my favorite red lipsticks.

And my last look is actually from yesterday and not technically an OOTD. But I was wearing dark skinny jeans and a Ramones shirt.

Ootds3

Ootds5

For this look I did use a couple of different products. In addition to my normal concealer I used the YADAH Silky Fit Concealer BB Power Brightening in Light Beige, this gives great coverage and I definitely recommend it, and I apply that with a Micro Mini Beauty Blender. I also used the Firma Beauty 103 Angled Contour Brush. It’s a great size and it’s one of the softest brushes I own. And the final thing I changed was my blush. This time I used the Balm, Balm Springs blush in the shade In Full Swing.

Ootds8

This look is something I don’t normally do and I didn’t know how it would look on me but I ended up really liking it and I already know a couple of things I want to do different next time to enhance it. For this I used the Hikari Cosmetics cream pigment in Honey Dew. I had used this as a highlight shade but not as a base, but it’s very pigmented and the color payoff is great. I then used White Lie on the inner corner and under my brows. The eyeliner I used is Seraphine Botanicals Liquid Coal Waterproof Liquid Liner. The Falsies and Great Lash on my lashes and one of my favorite lipsticks, the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème in 246, Slow Burn. I really like the formulation of the Marc Jacobs lipsticks and they last, which is a major plus.

That about wraps it up for this post. Like I said, I really enjoy doing these posts so I’ll probably do another for fall.

Until next time, take as many OOTD pictures as possible and have fun with your looks :).

Simple and delicious taco soup

Hi everyone,

The seasons are starting to change and fall is upon us and one of the things that means is me making my favorite soups. There is nothing more cozy on a fall or winter day than a bowl of soup so today I wanted to share one of my all time favorite soup recipes. This one is for taco soup and it’s absolutely delicious.

What you need:

1 pound of ground beef

1 package of smoked sausage

1 onion

1 can of kidney beans

1 can of black beans

1 can of pinto beans

1 can of whole kernel corn

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 can of chicken broth

2 1/2 cups of water

1 package of taco seasoning

Make sure you drain all of the cans except for the tomatoes

What you do:

Take the sausage and cut it into 1/2 inch cubes and chop the onion. Then put a pan, 4-5 quart size, over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes and add in the sausage and onion. Stir it occasionally until the sausage is lightly browned.

Put in all of the remaining ingredients, stir to incorporate and bring to a boil. Once brought to a boil cover and reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir occasionally and cook for 15 minutes.

Ladle into bowls and top with your favorite toppings. I like to top mine with sour cream, grated cheese, green onions and crushed tortilla chips.

That about wraps it up for this post if any of you guys make this soup tweet me a picture or tag me on Instagram. And if you guys have any amazing soup recipes let me know.

Until next time, have fun cooking and enjoy the changing seasons :).
