Blogmas Day Twelve: Christmas Day Makeup

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Twelve! I can’t believe we’re already at the end of Blogmas, it truly flew by. For Day Twelve I thought I would share with you guys what my Christmas Day makeup is going to look like. I usually mention it every year, and this year it took me a little while to decide what I wanted to do. I like to do a little glam but not full glam for Christmas Day because we have a very relaxing day and chill in our lounge wear and I’m happy with what I came up with.

The first thing I did for this look was prime my face with the Smashbox The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory, my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory and set everything with the Ofra Pressed Banana Powder.

For the rest of my face, I first bronzed with the Nars Laguna Bronzer. Then I applied the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo Blush in Lychee and highlighted with the Too Faced Angel Kisses Highlighter.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime them with the Ace Beaute Eyeshadow Amplifying Base in Light. Then I went into the Violet Voss Violet Sunset Palette and the first shadow I used was Desert Sand. I took that and put it in the crease. Then I took Amber Sky and also put that in the crease, making sure to blend well. I then took Dusk and packed on the outer corner of my eye. For the rest of my lid I went into the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Palette and applied the shade Snow Fake. I then took Dusk and ran it about halfway under my eye and for the other half and into the inner corner of my eye, I applied Snow Fake. I lined my eyes with the BellaPierre Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner in Black and topped it off with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. For my lips, I lined them with the Model Co Lip Enhancer Illusion Lip Liner Pencil and filled them in with the MAC Matte Lipstick in Russian Red. I set the whole look with the Maven Beauty Rose Water Setting Spray

That about wraps it up for this post, I want to thank everyone for reading along this Blogmas, I had such a great time doing it. It’s always one of my favorite things to do. If you guys have figured out your Christmas Day makeup I’d love to know what you’re going to do and if you go makeup free on Christmas Day let me know that too, I’m always interested in what people do.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas :).

Blogmas Day Eleven: 3 Recent Holiday Looks

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Eleven! Today I’m going to be showing you 3 festive looks that I’ve done during December. I already have my Christmas Day Makeup figured out, but if you don’t, hopefully this post will give you a little inspiration.

The first look I did was gold. I have quite a few gold shadows I could’ve used, but I went with a bold gold. The first thing I did was prime my face and to do that I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. Then I applied my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless Foundation in 205, Ivory and my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in 5, Ivory. And set it with the Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder in Translucent Peach Whisper.

For the rest of my face I first bronzed and to do that I used the Too Faced Extra Toasty bronzer. I then went into the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee for my blush and highlighter. This blush is a nice light/medium pink and it’s nicely buildable. And the highlighter is a nice gold with a little bit of rosiness.

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime and to do that I used the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer. Then I went into the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Cookie palette and the first thing I did was take the matte nude shade and put it all over my lid. Then I took a light brown and put it in the crease. I then used a dark chocolaty brown and packed that on the outer corner of the eye and brought it a little bit into the crease. For the rest of my eye I applied the bright gold. I then took that chocolatey brown under my eye and brought it about two-thirds of the way in and put the gold on the remaining third and in the inner corner of my eye. I then lined my eyes using the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon in Blacquer and topped it off with the Sephora Collection LashCraft Big Volume mascara. Because it’s the holidays all of these looks feature red lipstick and for this look I used the Clarins Velvet Lip Perfector in 03 Velvet Red and I set the entire look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

For the second look I wanted to do something fun and a little bit over the top, so I went with green. For my face I used the same products as the first look with the exception of the powder. For this look I used the Ofra Cosmetics Banana Powder

For the rest of my face I started with bronzer and for that I used the Benefit Hoola bronzer. For my blush and highlighter I used the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo palette in Lychee.

For my eyes the first thing I did was prime and for that I used the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went into the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Cookie palette and I put the nude shadow all over my lids. Then I put a light brown shadow in the crease, just to have a background shade and a little bit of depth. Then I applied the shimmery emerald green all over my lid. It’s such a pretty color and translates really well from pan to eye. To mix it up a little I went into the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party palette and from that took Nooks & Cranberries, a matte red shade, and put that under the entirety of my eye and then put the white shimmery shade form the e.l.f. palette in the inner corner of my eye. To line my eyes I used the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black and topped off the eyes with the Tarte Maneater Mascara. For my lips I applied the MAC Matte Lipstick in 612, Russian Red. And I set the entire look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

And for the third look I wanted to do something that mixed a couple of colors so I went with a red and gold look. For my face, I used the same products that I used in the first look.

For the rest of my face I applied the Too Faced Extra Toasty Bronzer, Too Faced Daydreamer Blush and e.l.f. highlighter in Lychee.

For my eyes I first primed using the Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer. Then I went into the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party palette and took the nude shade, Cream Filling, and put it all over my eye. I then went into Nooks & Cranberries and put it in the crease lightly, then I packed it on the outer corner and the inner corner of my eye. In the middle I left a space and put Icing On Top, it’s a very pretty gold. To line my eyes I used the Marc Jacobs Highliner in Blacquer and I topped it off with the Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. I applied the YSL Tatouage Couture in 5 Rosewood Gang on my lips and set the whole look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

Blogmas Day Seven: Christmas Day Makeup

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Seven! Today I’m going to be showing you my Christmas Day makeup. Christmas Day for me is a very chill day, no real dressing up, just leggings and comfy clothes but I do like to do a fun makeup look. I did go back and forth between a few different look ideas, and I’m happy with the one I chose.

For this look the first thing I did was prime my face, and to do that I used the GlamGlow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. This is nicely hydrating and gives you a good glow under your foundation. The next thing I did was apply my Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless foundation in 205, Ivory and my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory. To set all of that I used the Ofra Cosmetics Banana Powder.

IMG_6836

For the rest of my face I started by bronzing with the Benefit Hoola bronzer. Then I used the e.l.f. Bite Size Face Duo in Lychee for my blush and highlight. The blush is a light/medium pink, it’s very buildable and the highlight is gold with a little bit of rosiness to it.

For my eyes, the first thing I did was prime using the Pretty Vulgar Uncaged Eyeshadow Primer. Then I went in to the e.l.f. Haute Chocolate Eyes Sugar Cookie palette and first used the matte nude shadow all over my eyes. Then I used the matte medium brown shade in the crease and the dark chocolate brown shade a little bit in the crease and packed on the outer corner of my eye. For the rest of the lid I used the neutral shimmer and packed it on and on top of that I used the bright shimmery white, for some extra sparkle. I then took the chocolate brown and put it under my eye about 2/3 of the way and from there up to the inner corner I applied the neutral shimmer. For the actual inner corner I put just a little bit of the white shimmer and I also put some of that on my brown bone. I lined my eyes using the Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon in Blacquer and topped it off with the Tarte Maneater mascara. I’m currently testing out this mascara and so far I’m liking it. I wanted to do red lipstick, so for this look I used the Clarins Velvet Lip Perfector in 03 Velvet Red and I set the entire look with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, I’m interested to know what your Christmas Day is like. Are you like me where you do a fun makeup look or do you just chill and not bother with it?

Until next time, have fun with your Christmas Day beauty and I hope you’re enjoying Blogmas :).

Blogmas Day Six: Christmas Day Makeup

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Six! I can’t believe we’re already halfway through and that there’s only two weeks until Christmas. Today I’m going to be showing you guys what my Christmas day makeup is going to be. I like to decide what I’m going to do beforehand, so on the day I can just pop it on and have a chill day. For a while I’ve been doing gold eyes, but this year I wanted something different and this is what I came up with.

So, the first thing I did was moisturizer my face with the Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturizer in Nude Glow. I really like this, it makes my face really soft and it gives me a nice glow that peeks through my foundation. Then I went in with my foundation, the Covergirl + Olay Simply Ageless in 205, Ivory. After that I applied my Maybelline Fit Me concealer in 5, Ivory under my eyes to brighten and in a few other places. And I topped that off with the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder.

For the rest of my face, the first thing I did was go in with my bronzer and for that I used the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. Then I applied one of my favorite blushes, the Seraphine Botanicals Lychee + Gold Healthy Glow Rose-Gold Blush. And I topped it off with the Urban Decay Afterglow 8 Hour Powder Highlighter in Sin.

CHM4

For my eyes, the first thing I did was use the Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, this is probably my favorite eyeshadow primer. Then I went in to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sultry Palette and used Twig in the crease. It’s a really nice brown and I use it as a crease color for quite a few looks. Then I used the dark matte brown from the e.l.f. Eye Candy Eyeshadow Duo Set on the outer corner of my eye and I brought that in just a little. And on the rest of the lid I used the bright white shadow from that same e.l.f. duo. I then used the Kat Von D Beauty Tattoo Liner in Trooper and finished the look with the Lancôme Monsieur Big mascara, it gives you lashes for days.

To top off the whole look I applied the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Maple. This is a deep brick red and I love it. It’s a great red lipstick. And I locked it all in with the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.

That about wraps it up for this post, I always like to do posts like this so look out for more in the future. I’d also love to know what you guys do on Christmas. Do you go a little glam with your look, keep it simple or rock no makeup?

Until next time, have fun creating your looks and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas :).
