Blogmas Day Seven: Christmas Day Activities

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Seven! Today I’m going to be talking about some of my favorite Christmas Day activities. I’ve mentioned this before, but on Christmas Day my family has a really chill day and it’s pretty much always been that way. I do my makeup on the more glam side, do a simple hairstyle and put on some cozy loungewear. We take our time opening presents and just enjoy ourselves.

After the present opening there’s a good amount of time before dinner and after everyone has messed with their presents it’s only natural to want to fill that time with something, so for us it’s always been games. As my siblings and I have gotten older the games have changed, but now we have our favorites.

One of my favorites is darts. This is a newer addition to the holidays but I think it’s one of the most fun. I highly recommend buying a dartboard if you don’t have one because it’s a great game and kids and adult alike can have a lot of fun with it.

Something I try to do at least once during the holiday season is put together a festive puzzle. I love puzzles always but especially during the holidays because it’s such a cozy thing to do. And the festive puzzles are so cute and have great pictures.

Ever since I was a little kid and I know before I was born, my parents would buy my siblings a new video game or video games. That tradition has continued on as we all have consoles and love to play games, there are some we play team up and play together and others only one of us will play. But on Christmas day one or multiple of us will open up a game and we’ll all play.

The last activity we have is dominoes. On Christmas night after dinner we all gather around and play dominoes. This is something we’ve been doing for years and all have a lot of fun with, especially because we’re all a little competitive with each other but there’s always so many laughs.

That about wraps it up for this post, if you have any games you play with your family on or during Christmas I’d love to know what they are.

Until next time, enjoy your traditions and I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas :).
