Blogmas Day Nine: December BoxyCharm Unboxing

Hi everyone,

Welcome to Blogmas Day Nine! You might be asking what happened to Day Eight, but instead of doing a traditional post for it, I streamed on Twitch on my podcast channel. I started a podcast with two of my friends, it’s called The Unlikely Trio Podcast, we’ve done three episodes so far and it’s a lot of fun. I’ll link it, but definitely check it out and come hangout with us!

Back to today’s post, yesterday I received my December BoxyCharm box and I thought that today would be the perfect day to go through it with you. The theme for this month is Gift Of Glam which is perfect for the holiday season. Not only are people literally gifting so much makeup and skincare to one another, but with all the parties during the season, BoxyCharm is the perfect gift to yourself.

So the first product we have is the Mudmasky Mineral – Infused Double Cleansing Mask. This is a non foaming, fragrance free cleansing mask that is infused with minerals to detoxify and deep cleanse your face before bed. Along with the blend of cleansing minerals, it’s mixed with Mudmasky’s signature Premium Moroccan Lava Clay and this blend helps to restore your skin’s pH levels, prevent acne and reduce redness. This is a 3 in 1 formula so it’s deep cleansing, pore refining, restoring, nourishing and hydrating. I’ve been using the Mudmasky eye serum and I like it a lot, so I’m interested to try this out. It sounds great.

The next product we have is the TYNT Beauty TYNTED – Hydrating Tinted Eye Cream in the shade Whisper. This is a sheer, color correcting eye cream/concealer. This is fortified with squalene, apple extract, jojoba seed oil and super hyaluronic acids so you get a well hydrated and supple finish that helps to reduce the looks of under eye circles. Because it is a sheer formula, it says it’s buildable, which is always a plush. I’m intrigued by the idea of this, so I’ll try it out and see what I think.

Moving on we have the RealHer Dreams So Big Eyeshadow Palette. This is a 9 pan palette with a mix of matte and shimmer shadows in neutral tones. These shadows are infused with avocado oil, coconut oil and other vegan ingredients for buttery shadows that are highly pigmented and blend nicely. I really like the packaging on this. It’s very sleek and cool.

You get a nice size mirror with this palette as well, which is always a plus.

I didn’t swatch this palette because I’m going to sneakily use it as a stocking stuffer for someone, but I wanted to show it you guys because I think it’s a nice palette and this would be great for anyone would likes neutrals or someone who is just starting out in makeup and doesn’t have a lot yet.

The second to last product we have is the Seraphine Botanicals Luna Liner – Water – Resistant Liquid Eyeliner. This is a vegan, fade proof, water resistant liquid liner in an intense black with a micro brush tip so you can get the precise line and definition you want. Seraphine Botanicals is a brand I’ve used on and off for years. I actually used another eyeliner of theirs, I think it was Liquid Coal, and I did like it so I’m excited to try this one. Plus you can never have too many eyeliners.

And the last product we have is the Benefit Cosmetics Georgia Golden Peach Blush. This is one of Benefit’s best sellers and it’s easy to see why. This is a really pretty warm and vibrant peach shade with a nice, soft golden shimmer that gives you a lovely little glow. In the swatch it was really smooth and blended easily. Plus it smells good.

This comes with the little brush that most Benefit products have and I think they’re so cute. I have used the brush once or twice and even though it’s not what I usually go for, it’s decent.

It also has a little mirror which is great if you’re reapplying on the go. If you wanted to pop this in your handbag you would be set.

I think for me because of the tone of it, I’m more likely to use it as a highlighter, but I’ll try it out as both and see what I prefer. But I do like it and I think it’s super pretty.

That about wraps it up for this post, if we got any of the same products in our December BoxyCharm boxes let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products, I’m glad you’re liking Blogmas and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).
