What I Got For Christmas 2020

Hi everyone,

Today I thought it would be fun to share with you guys what I got for Christmas. I do want to say that I’m in no way bragging, I like to watch and read these types of posts, and I find it fun to write them as well. So this year I didn’t have a real list of what I wanted, so I was happily surprised by a few of these gifts.

The first thing we have is what was in my stocking. Besides a bunch of my favorite candy, there were three other things. The first isn’t pictured because I already put it in my handbag, I have a little kit in my handbag that has all the essentials in it, and it was a mini deodorant. The nex thing was a Jergens Ultra Healing lotion, this has Vitamins C, E and B5 and moisturizes for 48 hours. This is one of my favorite lotions for winter, and I definitely recommend checking it out if you have dry skin or get drier skin during the winter months. And the last thing in my stocking was a Duracell 500 Lumen LED flashlight. This flashlight is stupidly bright, it has four different settings and it’s a mini so you get a great flashlight that fits in your hand and would definitely fit in your handbag if you wanted a handbag flashlight.

So switching to gifts and starting with beauty, I have a couple of makeup related items. The first is the Too Faced Enchanted Beauty Unbearably Glam Collection. I think that the Too Faced holiday collection is great this year, everything is really pretty, but the Unbearably Glam had the colors that interested me the most. I’m not going to show too much of this because I’m going to do a whole post about it. But I will say that I really like the packaging, it’s got a nice holographic look to it and I like all the detail with the bear. This is a three piece set, so you get an eyeshadow palette, a face palette that has a blush and highlight and a mascara. I used this palette today and so far I’m impressed.

The second beauty related item I didn’t take a picture of because it wasn’t in the stack with the other gifts. I think it’s in my wallet though. But it’s a Sephora gift card. There was a couple of holiday things I wanted from Sephora, but they sold out super quick, so I was given a gift card and with my birthday coming up, I’ll be putting it to good use.

Moving on, I have a couple of fashion related items. The first is a USC shirt. I really like the style of this, I don’t have any long sleeved USC gear and it fits great.

Next we have a green/blue cropped long sleeved shirt. This has lace detail, cute buttons and it came knotted at the bottom. This is like a light sweater, it’s very soft and it’s super cute on. I tried all of these items on, but I haven’t worn any of them yet.

The second to last clothing item we have is a dark gray cropped Beatles sweatshirt. This says ‘The Beatles’ on the hood in multiple colors, as the Abbey Road album cover on the front with ‘The Beatles’ written below. This is super soft and keeps me nice and warm.

The last clothing item we have is a light pink cropped sweater. This is crocheted/knitted so it has a ton of detail and it has three big buttons down the front. This is adorable on and is actually pretty warm.

Next we have some practical things. The first is a 2021 Erin Condren planner. The Erin Condren Life Planner has been an absolute game changer for me and I love it. The pattern that I went for this time is the zodiac and it’s customizable, so I went with Capricorn, because I am a Capricorn and my name is on it. It also came with a to do list pad and some gift tags.

The second practical thing I got is a calendar. I have a couple of different calendars that I use for different things, but this is my main calendar. I always like a theme for calendars, so I went with a jet theme and there’s so super cool pictures. I also like that this calendar has a ‘on this day in military history’ fact for every day of the month. This is the first time I’ve seen that on a calendar and I love military history, so it’s a win-win.

I have two gifts that haven’t come yet, but I’m so excited about both of them. The first is actually a practical thing and it’s a pair of blue light glasses. I’ve wanted a good pair forever and recently I’ve been spending more time on my computer, so these will definitely be great to have. And the other is music related. It’s a Beatles songbook for ukulele. It has 100 songs, lyrics, chord symbols and chord diagrams. I’m always looking for ukulele sheet music for Beatles songs and online it can be hit and miss, so I can’t wait to have a legit book.

The last thing I got for Christmas is also music related and it’s a ukulele. But not just any ukulele, this is an Epiphone Les Paul Acoustic-Electric Concert Ukulele in Vintage Sunburst. I pretty much haven’t been able to stop staring at this since I got it, it’s everything I thought it would be and more. I tuned it yesterday and have played around with it a little bit and it has such an incredible tone. I do want to get an amp to plug it into, so I can use it acoustically and electrically. I also want to get a strap for it, so if you guys have any recommendations for good ukulele straps let me know.

That about wraps it up for this post, I’d love to know what you guys got for Christmas.

Until next time, enjoy your gifts and I hope you all had a great Christmas :).
