Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Review

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be doing a review of the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party collection. It’s currently snowing and has been for a couple days so it’s very wintery, cozy vibes, so this fits perfectly. And that being said, let’s get into it.

So with this collection you get quite a few pieces. You get a Better Than Sex Mascara, 24+ Hour Anti Crease Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer, a Melted Matte Long Wear Lipstick, a blush, bronzer, highlighter palette, a 6 shadow palette and the big 20 shadow palette.

The Better Than Sex Mascara is one of my all time favorites. It has a nice big brush, it coats all of my lashes giving them volume and length and it doesn’t clump.

I’ve always been a big fan of the Melted Matte Lipsticks. The formula is great, there is a fantastic range of colors and they don’t feel heavy or dry out my lips. This particular one is in the shade Gingerbread Man, it’s a really nice orangey brown and it smells like gingerbread.

I did forget to take a separate picture of the Eye Shadow Primer, but I do quite like it and it’s great with the glitter shadows.

Moving to palettes, one thing that I find so cool about this set it the palettes are magnetic so they stick to one another. This one is the blush, bronzer, highlighter, it’s the roof of the house. And it has snow and various sweets on it.

The highlighter is called Get Frosted and it’s a super pretty gold with a pink undertone and the way it catches the light when it’s on the face is so nice. The blush is Daydreamer and it’s a nice medium pink and the bronzer, Extra Toasty is a lighter brown but it’s so nice on and it blends well.

The first of the eye shadow palettes, the 6 shadow, is the front door if you will of the house and it has a gingerbread man with a candy cane on it.

This has the glitter shadows in it along with two mattes. And says ‘Tis The Season To Sparkle. The first glitter we have is called Frost Yourselves and it’s silver. Next is Miss Kringle and that is gold. Then we have Snow Pink, which is the one I’ve worn and it’s rose gold. Next to that is All My Wishes and that is a brown with gold. And the mattes are On A Roll which is a light beigey nude and Can’t Catch Me which is a dark brown.

Now we have the big 20 shadow palette, the main part of the house. On the front is snow and various sweets, two windows, one has a Christmas tree and the other has a dog and in the middle is a gingerbread woman opening the door and holding a present.

On the inside this has the two gingerbread people cheersing under some decorations and on the other side is the shadows. And these do smell like fresh gingerbread.

I swatched these two rows at a time on my arm. So the first one we have is Snow Fake, it has so much more dimension on the eyes than in the swatch. Then there’s Sled No One Ever, a light brown, Santa’s Favorite which is a sparkly purple-ish red and That’s My Jam, a berry toned purple. The second row starts off with Cream Filling which is a nude, then there Icing On Top a really pretty light rose gold. Next to that is Nooks and Cranberries which is a deep red with some brown undertones and Ginger Bells, a gorgeous orange.

The third row starts with I Love Yule, a really pretty pink with gold sparkles. Next to that is Tinsel Town and that is a really light sparkly purple/white. Then there’s Cinnamagic a sparkly bronzey orange and Secret Santa, a deep chocolate brown. Row four starts with Oh Snap, a milk chocolate brown. Then there’s Don’t Hate, Decorate, a sparkly brown. Next to that is Get Elfed Up, a lovely sparkly gold and What A Batch, a light brown.

And the last row, row five, starts with Drink Up Grinches, a gorgeous sparkly emerald green. Then there’s Kiss and Caramel, a medium sparkly gold. Next to that is Hot and Coal, which is black with a silver sparkle and Easy Bake Lover, a deep sparkly copper.

That about wraps it up for this post, I’m having so much fun playing with this collection and I have a post going up in a few days showing some of the looks I’ve created with it.

Until next time, have fun creating different looks and you can never have too many eye shadow palettes :).
