Hi everyone,
Today, as it’s getting towards the end of the month. I’m going to be doing my November favorites. I have a fun mix of things this month, so let’s get into it.
Starting with beauty, I have a couple of favorites from my November Sephora Play Box and I’ll link that post below if you haven’t read it. The first is the Amika Silken Up Dry Conditioner. This is a product that I was initially excited about because I had never used a dry conditioner before and I really like this. When I originally talked about this I used it on second day hair, just to see and it made my hair look fresher than it normally would on the second day. I usually go three or four days between hair washing, that’s what my hair likes, and I used this last week when I was sick and it really helped put some life back into my hair. So I highly recommend not only this product but Amika as a brand, they’re great.
Next we have the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I have a couple different powders that I switch between and this had made itself a spot in the rotation. It’s really silky, weightless and gives you a nice matte finish.
This next favorite I talked a lot about in my Sephora Play unboxing, so I won’t ramble on too much. But it’s the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in 40 Pink Tea. I will say that I really like the color, it’s a nudey pink, and it’s really long lasting. I definitely recommend it.
My last Sephora Play favorite is Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. This is like the perfect scent, it’s a very fresh with citrus, floral notes and some underlying woody hints. If you get the chance to smell it I would say do it. It’s really nice.
My last beauty favorite is something I just bought, but already really like and it’s the e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose. It’s a dusty rose shade and it feels really nice on the lips, not drying at all. And the colored bit on the end pops off and it’s a built in sharpener, which is super handy and I appreciate.
Moving on, my next favorite is Thanksgiving. This year for Thanksgiving I had a cold, which I’m still getting over, so I wasn’t feeling super festive. But it was a really chill day and I did still make apple pie. And I’m really happy with how it came out.
And my last favorite is a music favorite and it’s the new Take That album Odyssey. I’ve been giving my reaction as some songs off the album as they were being released, but now that the album’s out, just wow. It’s incredible. The new songs are fantastic, and the Odyssey version of the classic songs is so well done, very well mixed. I love everything, but if I had to pick a favorite or favorites, I haven’t stopped listening to Everlasting, Spin and How Deep Is Your Love featuring Barry Gibb. How Deep Is Your Love is one of my favorite Bee Gees songs and when I originally heard the Take That cover I wanted them to collaborate with Barry and I’m not disappointed in it whatsoever. It’s a beautiful song. I would one million percent recommend listening to this album.
That about wraps it up for this post, if we had any of the same favorites this month let me know and if not I’d love to know what your favorites were.
Until next time, enjoy your favorites and I hope you all had a great November :).
-K
