February Sephora Play unboxing

Hi everyone,

So after doing the Ipsy subscription last year, this year I wanted to try another beauty subscription so I decided to go with Sephora Play. I shop at Sephora quite a bit and I thought it would be fun to try it out and so far I’m really liking it.

The theme is Feel The Love and that really comes through. The bag is white and red with pink drawstrings and a heart with a face, it’s adorable.

So first up we have the Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx Peeling Gel. This has fruit enzymes and is supposed to clear your pores and remove dead skin cells to make your skin incredibly soft. Peter Thomas Roth does skincare exceptionally well and I’ve heard only amazing things about this product so I can’t wait to try it.

Next up we have the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. I truly believe that a good eye cream is invaluable and I think that this may just be one of those. I’ve been using this since I got it, I think it was Saturday, and I feel like it’s already making a difference. If you’re looking for a new eye cream I highly recommend this.

Moving on we have the Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color in Rose Gold. This is a gorgeous color, highly pigmented, it’s got a nice shimmer and just based off the swatch, it’s one of those shadows that’s beautifully understated and you can use not only as a main shade, but as a highlighter.

Next up is the Sephora Collection Rouge Matte Lipstick in M11 Rebel Chic. I have worn this and I love it. It’s an absolutely gorgeous berry shade, long lasting and I think it’s the perfect berry shade because it’s not too red and it’s not too purple.

The second to last product is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in 5855 Let’s Go Crazy. This is a really bright and fun pink and honestly, when I first swatched it I was a little unsure because it looked really pink, but when I put it on it wasn’t as pink and I really like it.

The fun thing about Sephora Play, is, along with the other products you get a bonus product and I got the Atelier Vanille Insensee perfume. You guys know how much I love Atelier, they are on the pricier side, but their perfumes smell incredible and I definitely need to buy a full size of this scent.

That about wraps it up for this post, if you guys got any of the same products in your February Play box let me know and if not I’d love to know what you did get.

Until next time, enjoy your products and I can’t wait to see what I get next month :).
