Racing in New Hampshire

Hi everyone,

This weeks race took us to Epping, New Hampshire for the NHRA New England Nationals. And what a good race it was.

Starting in Top Fuel, the ladder looked like this; #1 Leah Pritchett (3.67), #2 Brittany Force (3.68) vs #15 Steve Chrisman (6.84), #3 Tony Schumacher (3.70) vs #14 Smax Smith (5.25), #4 Antron Brown (3.72) vs #13 Shawn Reed (4.06), #5 Terry McMillen (3.72), Terry had an insane explosion in E1 and if you haven’t seen it definitely look it up on YouTube, vs #12 Scott Palmer (3.82), #6 Shawn Langdon (3.72) vs #11 Dom Lagana (3.79), #7 Clay Millican (3.72) vs #10 Troy Coughlin Jr (3.77) and #8 Steve Torrence (3.73) vs #9 Doug Kalitta (3.73). The winners and who they would face in the secound round were Leah Pritchett (5.23) and Steve Torrence (3.71), Antron Brown (4.57) and Scott Palmer (3.91), Brittany Force (3.75) and Troy Coughlin Jr (3.78) and Smax Smith (4.20) and Shawn Langdon (3.75). The semifinals were Leah Pritchett (4.33) vs Antron Brown (3.73) and Brittany Force (3.74) vs Shawn Langdon (3.79). The finals featured Antron Brown (3.70) and the Matco Tools team and Brittany Force (3.73) and the Monster Energy team. With the winner being Brittany Force (3.71). This is Brittany’s first win of the season.

Next we have Funny Car, where the ladder looked like this; #1 Robert Hight (3.82) vs #16 Mike Smith (6.23), #2 Courtney Force (3.84) vs #15 Jim Campbell (4.56), #3 Ron Capps (3.86) vs #14 Jeff Diehl (4.12), #4 Matt Hagan (3.87) vs #13 John Force (3.96), #5 Jack Beckman (3.87) vs #12 Del Worsham (3.94), #6 Bob Tasca (3.89) vs #11 Alexis DeJoria (3.92), #7 Cruz Pedregon (3.89) vs #10 Tim Wilkerson (3.90) and #8 JR Todd (3.90) vs #9 Tommy Johnson Jr (3.90). The winners and who they would face in the second round were Mike Smith (4.32) and Tommy Johnson Jr (4.01), Matt Hagan (3.95) and Del Worsham (4.06), Courtney Force (3.91) and Cruz Pedregon (3.95) and Ron Capps (5.72) and Bob Tasca (4.57). The semifinals were Tommy Johnson Jr (4.00) vs Matt Hagan (3.94) and Courtney Force (3.95) vs Ron Capps (3.95). The finals featured Matt Hagan (3.96) and the Mopar team and Courtney Force (3.89) and the Advanced Auto Parts team. With the winner being Matt Hagan (3.89). This is Matt’s third win of the season.

And finally we have Pro Stock, where with 14 cars, the ladder looked like this; #1 Tanner Gray (6.50) vs #14 Val Smeland (6.78), #2 Erica Enders (6.51) vs #13 Shane Tucker (6.71), #3 Bo Butner (6.51) vs #12 Alan Prusiensky (6.64), #4 Drew Skillman (6.51) vs #11 John Gaydosh (6.62), #5 Greg Anderson (6.52) vs #10 Kenny Delco (6.59), #6 Jeg Coughlin (6.53) vs #9 Vincent Nobile (6.55) and #7 Jason Line (6.53) vs #8 Allen Johnson (6.55). The winners and who they would face in the second round were Tanner Gray (14.71), Drew Skillman (6.54) and Kenny Delco (6.71), Erica Enders (6.55) and Jason Line (6.54) and Bo Butner (6.54) and Vincent Nobile (6.58). The semifinals were Tanner Gray (15.74) vs Drew Skillman (6.56) and Erica Enders (6.57) vs Bo Butner (6.53). The finals featured Tanner Gray (6.54) and the Gray Motorsports team and Erica Enders (6.55) and the Elite Motorsports team. With the winner being Erica Enders (6.53). This is Erica’s first win of the season.

The next race will be the NHRA Summernationals June 8-11 in Englishtown, New Jersey.
